It is formadible enough to make countries like china russia and USA think twice, they know it is not an easy throwover. Look at their military specs. thing is, Kazakhstan was chosen purely by accident: the initial Borat from the late 90s was referred to as Albanian in some instances. I do however think that Cohen overkilled it, I mean he could have just invented some country that doesnt exist, that way he wouldnt have gotten into all this trouble.

Nah. The country itself is up for debate amongst citizen prosperity. But the military and defense of this country is unquestionably very formidable. It is formadible enough to make countries like china russia and USA think twice, they know it is not an easy throwover. Look at their military specs. They have no navy so to speak of, but their ground and air force is a guarantee for casualties no matter who you are. This country has only 200 armored vehicles, but 1,000 air fighter/bombers .

I'm guessing because for a lot of people in the west it's somewhere we don't know a lot about -we never see it in books, on TV and we never go there on holiday. Because of this, he can come up with anything he wants and people will either believe it, or at least be forced to take his word for it, because they don't actually know anything about Kazakhstan.
