@kodkummi subtitles really are a bit weird, trust me :))) the translator was not English, he uses a lot of strange idioms, syntax is bizarre, and grammar straight forward full of small mistakes :)) but it adds to the film's mistery, in my opinion. I don't mind at all. Although, they could appear for longer periods of time, sometimes I must pause to be able to read them in time :))))

Don't worry about some mistakes of these names of character's and place.
Especially character's are not used by most Japanese of the moment.
Very natural that these names are unfamiliar to no-native speaker of Japanese.
And the mistakes are not big problem with Story.
But I'll note right names for someone to want to know.
Sinzi→Shinkichi
Osa→Ohisa
Yusan→Hanyu
Furi→Rui
