well, it's not like non-understanding of pronunciation that occurs in this dialect (here they do substitute consonants in a 'Ternopil'' way), but they use several outdated local words, that are even mixed with the musical noise providing the difficulty of understanding them

Well they do not speak classic Ukranian, it's a western dialect, so most of the Ukranians (I mean most by majority of population) need to train they ears to get it.

In western Ukraine we also have three ethoses: Boiky, Lemky and Guculy and they also speak differently in their own dialects :)
