  • If that was a bodyweight curl, then that was pretty good, for that form! Practically strict

  • I'm going to go ahead and mention your form. I didn't see any other comments on it, so either I'm a moron or you deleted them. Your lower lats and traps probably did about half the work there.

  • impressive strength

  • Thanks! I'm trying to get back to the big numbers, but work hell (construction industry = economic death) and training for MMA fights leaves me little time.

  • Nice man! I compete with NASA too. My best in a meet was 187 at 163 bdw for the highschool division. I have some vids if you want too see. I also just made a 190 semi strict curl vid similar to this one here at 160 bdw.

  • Dude...very nice lifts! You should post a vid. Anytime any one can strict curl their BW or more is impressive in my book.

  • his form was better by far than your 190. id compare it to your old 160. if yo ucan do 190 like this post it up. but i still think you lied about the 300 curl in my ops./

    nice lift hotassanime.

  • Well he did lean a bit forward just like I did. And it appeared as if he leaned back a bit more. But his vid is at a different angle so you can't tell as much. And I wasn't lieing about that. If I could do 245 for three reps like 2 years ago at a 10 pounds less bodyweight then wouldn't it make sense that I could lift alot more now? But w/e believe what you want.

  • nah his form was much stricter. but hey i defend you on your page a lot. idk if you got the 40 comments i posted on your videos to the haters yesterday. but im kinda tired of the empty promises dude. all of your fans, including jared and me want to see that video. even if id o believe you istill want to see it, and a 115 pound shoulder press id like to see it./s

  • I wouldn't use the word "MUCH" stricter because when you look at it either of us cheated that much which makes it pretty close. And I can't always please all the fans. My gym not allowing me to film makes it VERY difficult. I am not lucky like you and have tons of weights at my house were I can film all the time.

  • Great form on this rep bro...that's serious strength right there. 50 stars.

  • Ha-ha! Still, 165 is respectable...no matter what. I've never squatted 750 lbs in a meet, but I have done band-box squats with 800 lbs. It was neither pleasant or fun--felt like it was going to crush me.

  • Thanks, brother! And to curl your own BW for 10 reps is VERY impressive!

I competed in NASA for over 10 years, but now just powerlift for fun and to help with MMA training. NASA judging on the strict curl is VERY, VERY STRICT! When I did my 191, it was around the time they first added Powersports, and many people bombed due to the strict judging.

Regardless, enter a meet! It's fun as hell!

  • i think you lift it right and legal. Why lift it from the ground?

anyway, i can curl my bodyweight 10 times in strict form, but that's because i weight 65Kg xD. I never trained 1RM in curl, but in the last few days i discovered the curl meets at NASAand they make me think in start training the biceps seriously...

    k, keep it strong!

  • im not gonna lie id like to see how strict yo ucan curl your own bw for one rep let alone 10 no offense dude.

  • -weird idk if you comment was to me or not, i cant see my comment on this video but anyway...-

you can see me curl almost my BW 4 times ain my "Cheat Curl 60Kg/132lbs x4 @ 65Kg/143lbs BW" is the most strict i can curl that i think... it's been a loooong time since i dont curl. Look it up on my videos.

  • you said you curl your bw for 10 reps. i assumed you emant strict, not cheat curling it 4 times. no offense. i can do thjat too, but i cant come close to strict curling it for 1.

  • i did that when i was 20 y/o since then i dont train biceps at all, that video of me cheat curling was just to see where i was in terms of curling, but i dont train biceps anymore, i'm focusing on my bench press. anyway...
