finally got 10.5.6 installed on my laptop, dual booting osx and windows. will try installing ilife 09 as it seems simple enough and im guessing this is how you get this on a hackintosh :D

i have snow lepord 10.6 running on a eee 1005ha netbook.. i got the audio to work, but when i downloaded ilife 09, Garageband wouldnt record or even let me make sound there.. any ideas for a fix?

@illertop10: if OS X runs on the acer aspire one, Garange Band will run too.

@all : Garage Band is one of the trickiest app. It can't run with a resolution < 1024*768. The resize script doesn't work so you'll have to go with GarageBand '08 and use the "Cmd + L " shortcut to access the control panel (actually, it opens loops which are situated on bottom of GB's interface. This won't work with the latest version of GB since Apple put in on the right of the interface)

Did you install GarageBand from iLife 08 or GarangeBand from iLife 09 ?

I personally use the oldest version since the GB '09 is quite impossible to use as they modified the interface.

GB 08 is much more usable if you know the CMD-L tip.

Hi! I have installed garage band on a osx 10.5.6 in a msi wind notebook U100. I have problem with the resolution.. I dont take all monitor.. Do u use some program??
