Hi, I have a question. I just got Rhinoplasty Tuesday and I am concerned. I had a tiny nose before and just wanted a bump removed and now my little cast thing came off and I saw the result. My nose looks wide at the bottome...bigger than before. I still have the packing in it...I want to know if your nose was big and swollen before. It looks like right now that I have something stuffed in my nose?
I'm about to get a nose job cuz I can't breath on my right side of my nose and cuz it's crooked so there gonna fix that. But I'm 15 and really scared. What is it gonna be like when I wake up and go home? And how will it be for the rest of the week?
You're going to be very uncomfortable for the full week. But gets better after the first few days. Get some movies and books to read so that you can just relax at home. You'll want lots of liquids, straws, and soft foods to eat.
You won't be able to breathe out of your nose for a while, but don't freak out. The inside of your nose gets swollen from the surgery.
The uncomfortable part is how your nose feels. As long as you take your meds, it's not so much that your nose hurts. But you can't breath through it, it's really swollen, your whole face just feels uncomfortable. And on top of that, you have to be very careful to keep your face elevated, which gets annoying.
***I think you have to be about 16, but you'd need to double check on that. They pretty much just want to make sure you're done developing.
***The costs ranges depending on your geographical area and the extent to the surgery. Count on it being anywhere from $5K to $9K.
***You're going to be bruised and swollen for about a month or so. It takes about 6 months for it to completely change. But you'll get the idea of what it will look like in about a month.
My surgery was purely cosmetic, so surgery didn't cover it. If there's an actual medical issue, than it will. Yeah, pretty much I just saved up a bunch of money and decided to spend it on my surgery.
Yeah, I had to be really careful when I slept. I propped my head up on pillows and kept my nose facing upwards. There were a couple of times I rolled on my side and hit my nose. Needless to say, it didn't feel too good!
Same here, but if they are friends they'll support you in doing what you believe will make you happier. The other girls will hate that you took the opportunity to change yourself a bit in a way that will make you feel more content, but they're not important, hopefully it will all be worth it in the end.

I had to sleep on my back. It's uncomfortable, but you want to make sure not to roll over on your nose!

in newyork the prices can be well over 15k for a really good doctor.btw, ur nose looks wonderful,the doc was superb.i saw ur other vids

16+ you need permission from a guardian he or she has to sign it
it depends on what u wanna get done but it goes from3000 to 6000
it takes a year to heal completely but..a month u can kinda see how its gonna look like.
