Tier 2 = BWL (headpiece from onyxia)

Tier 3 = Naxx40

Ok people on these comments are generalzing about mages too much. Stop acting like mages are so godlike, Iv'e seen mages get smacked just as many times as they dish out the ass kickings. Mages aren't op and they do not rickroll every other class. It's a load of crap and if you watch other good classes fight mages it's usually pretty even.

I personally think Affliction warlock can take down any class/spec except for a DK. I've done it with ease, mages can nuke but i can fear then while gaining all my health back and considering they can't heal they usually go down without much of a fight. Ret paladins make me laugh, warriors are pains but manageable, rogues are all depending if my trinket is on CD. Like I said only a DK can rip me up, everything else falls to my spells. Remember this is just an opinion ;-)

fair enough a 5 mlock team s a 5 mage team pre tbc wins... i'd like to see how that pans out at level 80 mages have mirror image so ur basically fighting 20 casters hehe fun time

but if the 5 mages spec frost then they can summon there elemental too so ur fighting 25 casters for about 30 seconds if the mages focus fore well and the decoys work i wonder how long the locks will last

Warlocks don't have many defensive spells combined with high burst damage and good crowd control.

Mages require that you know your spec well, and that you are focused at what you're doing and knowing the proper tactics.

All in all, yeah mages are easier once you mastered how to babysit your character properly.

Warlock PvP at the moment consists of:

Curse of Elements->Immolate->Chaos Bolt->Conflagrate->Shadowburn-­>Shadowfury->Incinerate spam until cooldowns are off.

Mage PvP is harder, but mages are also tougher to kill.

Haha I remember this event, it was an awsome night and us mages were having a blast in our ventrilo channel when we did this, even tough the warlocks was kinda angry at us. And btw 5 fire mages vs 5 warlocks wasn't really a fair fight, not a chance in hell that the mages would have won and we knew this so we left with style instead. Atleast we beat the rogues ^^
