@mrssweet01 HI there you will make less increase rounds, (the oval part will be smaller) make the oval so that the mesurement is just a smidge smaller than the baby head and then continue on with the pattern

the hat looks great, but i really would luv to make one for my baby, but i'm not sure about how i could do that, cause it looks like the one that u made is more adult size, is it possible to show or reply

thank you thank you thank you, I've only found a fedora pattern that I would have to pay for and funds are just too short for that kind of thing but I wanted a fedora soo bad but just could not figure out how to do it, am downloading this to my puter and going to spend the day happily making my first fedora, then some cowboy hats for my grandson.

If you make the brim shorter and turn up the back you can also make a trilby:).

We call them hair grips over here in the UK. I hope you don't give up making your crochet with 8ply because for me it is like our DK, which is 8ply.
