Well, Nigeria is only made up of black people. The country is not a mixed-race one like South Africa or western countries. However, whether you're black, white, yellow, as far as you're a Nigerian citizen u have the right to serve in our armed forces.
Nigeria and the US definitely have a warm relationship as the US is one of our large trading partners. Most of our officers attend advance training schools in the US from advance flight training to special ops (especially with the Green berets). However, we don't buy a lot of weapons from the US, but rather from western Europe, China, Isreal, and Russia.
Well, I admit that I'm not so conversant with the various types of ghillie suits used by snipers, but I guess that the one u pointed out is the jungle type ghillie suit, using the same jute material, and maybe the local vegetation to blend in with the environment

Well, Nigeria uses a mix of weapons from both the East (Russia and China) and the West. For Example, our standard issue ridle is the FN-FAL although we also produce our version of the FN-FAL. The Mi-35 helos are obviously Russian, but we also use Bo-105s and SA.330PUMA helos (France). Then there's the Navy's A-109s and A-139s.

Well have to say the peacekeeping missions carried out by the africans eg liberia usually have better results then when carried out by the UN eg Luanda.
The Nigerian army especially the airforce and navy needs to be seriously re equiped. Also as long as they remain in the barracks and not the state house thatis fine with me.

Talk is cheap. The will is not there to execute such project as replacing the Aradu under this present Government. Corruption will not let the Project succeed. It takes Minimum of 4 years consistency of commitment which include Money not missing in transit, how is that Possible in Nigeria of Today. Nigeria and the US definitely have a warm relationship as the US is one of our large trading partners. Most of our officers attend advance training schools in the US from advance flight training to special ops (especially with the Green berets). However, we don't buy a lot of weapons from the US, but rather from western Europe, China, Isreal, and Russia.

We just bought a sqzuadron of the j-7 fighter (AF), 2 brand new Suncraft Stealth offshore patrol crafts (NAVY), two more A-109 helicopters (NAVY), new Isreali Shaldag fast patrol crafts (NAVY), Singaporean Spyder Fast Assault Vehicles (ARMY), Otokar Cobra APCs (ARMY), and lots more. There are now plans to replace the nation's navy flagship with a brand new one.

And I don't mean one that had only the planes, but also the expertise (seasoned pilots trained in some of the very best schools back home and around the world). Do you know anything about military affairs. The Nigerian Military has never lost a war has done peacekeeping in Yugoslavia, Iran Iraq war, covert operations against apartheid. Won the Liberian and sierra leone civil wars, Somalia, Angola, Pakistan India, lebanon to name a few. Its a very battle hardened force. My family have served in all the branches army, airforce and navy and i can assure you they are some of the most6 professional Military men on this planet.

Well, Nigeria uses a mix of weapons from both the East (Russia and China) and the West. For Example, our standard issue ridle is the FN-FAL although we also produce our version of the FN-FAL. The Mi-35 helos are obviously Russian, but we also use Bo-105s and SA.330PUMA helos (France). Then there's the Navy's A-109s and A-139s.

`tell you what, why not check the combat history of the Nigerian military from the 1st WW in the cameroons to its operations in Burma during the 2nd WW (the Japs have a lot of horror stories to tell), down to our civil war (ask the Biafrans), and then to the wars fought in Liberia and Sierre Leone (destroyed the NPLF and RUF), then get back to me.
