I don't know why but i'm finding really hard to get into this album. I can see why you like it, but nothing sticks for me. it all just sounds a bit alien to my ears. maybe it's cause im not exactly a huge fan of R&B generally, but the cover of Dirty Diana (which he craftily disguised as D.D) just doesn't make me want to listen to the rest of the album, cause he just makes that song sound really stripped down, and its missing the emotions that Michael Jackson put into it when he sang it.

I liked this review, I sort of felt the same about the first two and Echoes Of Silence blew my mind too.

I also cannot wait for the weeknd album, this man's voice is incredibly and i was so iffy when i saw he covered D.D but wow, I mean only Abel could have done that to an MJ song, could have made you think okay not only did this guy cover something that shouldnt be touched but he filled it his own style and dramatization and really did it justice.

I wasn't much of a fan at first either but once you realize how incredible he is, his music is more enjoyable than anybody else's out right now.
