The 1974 GTO was a miracle in its day. Radial tuned suspension, functional hood scoop, 350 V8 producing a mere 200hp with a whopping 290lb/ft of torque.....looks like somebody might have sandbagged. Dual exhaust, optional 4 speed, limited slip posi...all made for a car that was almost as fast as the 65, but handled much better.
'74 GTOs are getting rare nowadays. Looks like you have a nice one. I owned a blue/white int. 4-speed in '80. I also owned a yellow/black int.auto. in'94. The 4-speed car was stock exept a distributer re-curve and2.5 in resonator only exhaust. It ran 14.60 @ 97 mph at richmond international. Not bad for a stock 350 ! I sure miss those cars.

I LOVE GTO'S (I have a 70), but in my opinion, they went down hill in 73 and 74!

cool thanks for comments just put new (quieter fuel pump on it so the hum is gone (hates the blue pumps!)
