It's not old news with me. I did a brief little Xtranormal video on the subject and it has received a lot of attention in just a couple of days. People who think this is over just aren't paying attention. Civil rights issues always take time. But they will be resolved rightly . . . eventually. Sad that only one of California's seven Supremes has a spine. But that will change, too . . . eventually.

Prop 8 is current news because although it passed in November 2008 it was challenged and unfortunately upheld in the California Supreme Court only a few days ago (26 May 2009). As others have said and will continue to say, the issue will not go away and needs to be brought up again and again.
