  • SHE IS HER MOTHERS DAUGHTER!!!

  • she's a moving spaeker ,Just like her mother and father !!!!!

  • I was honored to have met Ms. King myself at my place of employment at the time. I was introduced to her through one of her business partners. We spoke about her acting career after conducting business and about a- (then) featured article she had in people magazine on her 'one woman show', that I had recently read. Ms. King seemed pleased that I followed her career. We spoke briefly about public service.

    Rest in Peace Ms. King.

  • how old was she when she died?

  • @shantie66 51

  • Her mother and herself were advocates of the gay rights movement. Bless their hearts and may the both rest in peace.

Shame on Bernice and Martin III for being vocally against gay marriage. Their father would be so displeased.

  • yolanda denise 'yoki' king speaks just likes her father and mother!!!!!!!! god rest their souls we love you!!

  • In this video Yolanda says: the civil rights movement I beleive in thrives on UNITY and INCLUSION, not division and exclusion!!! HRC needs to remember this, since they have chosen to forget and leave out the struggle of Transgender people in this movement, in the recent passing of ENDA without trans inclusion!

  • It is a sad but true shame that some people in the gay community are anti trans-

As a gay man please know that I fully support all trans people on their journey to hapiness. Afterall they are the "T" in LGBT

  • I had the honor of meeting Yolanda King, an articulate crusader for human rights and social change.

  • I got to meet her as well...I spent a week with her at a health resort/spa in West Palm Beach back in 2002.

  • What a great woman !!! Its wonderful how all of MLKs children has taken the baton and ran with it. Yolanda , you are missed !

  • I didn't know Yolanda King was dead! She sure looked like her mother.

  • Yolanda really favored her mother. She was cute.

  • she was a wonderful woman.

    RIP Yolanda King

  • She was such a powerful and moving speaker.

  • RIP

  • What a legacy you've left... you renew my faith in THE DREAM

  • i hate men too but im not a lesbian

  • I happen to be Gay but your comment about this Godly women really sits as an ignorant disrespectful and dumb statement. If you were EDUCATED, you would replay the message and LEARN something. LISTEn carefully and you would recognize she did not criticize whites or gays and that your comment is without merit.

  • wonderful women but she still looks young i never heard she was dead. wen did this happen? love you yolanda ri.p.

  • Wow. Amazing speech.

  • she was an AWESOME speaker! May she Rest in Peace

  • always worth to take a look at this again

    and listen

and let us be more aware

    and thoughtfull

    we will survive

if we dont forget to listen

    hugs!

  • i think she use to be on drugs she looks like it on this video, she smoked I know then she quit and gained all that weight

  • whats this for silly sick stupid sad msg........so sorry to read this....wonder whats really going on in and around you....better take good care!

  • what

  • ofcourse my msg here was especially for yoganandarita

  • Yes, the same gift her father had was also passed down to her. I'm ashamed that i never heard her speak before....she was an AMAZING woman who spoke the truth. And she was BEAUTIFUL like her mother!

  • She is an excellent speaker, like her dad!!

  • My comments weren't, of course, NOT about Yolanda but our race eating ourselves to death only second to Native Americans, her death was a wake up call to us all, not a way to reunite with our loved one!!

  • wow

  • I'm sad she's gone - her words will be remembered!

  • no they wont, Black folk are notorious for forgetting where we've come from no matter how many of us have died so that we can be free!

  • I am so glad her younger Brother aint trying to meet back up with them again so quickly for he has become a Vegan!! yes!! He's not only keeping it REAL but also ALIVE by not consuming dead flesh to death! She was truly a BE~YOU~ti Full Wombman!

  • If when you die you are so called reunited with your loved ones, then why dont everybody just cut to the chase and commit suicide to speed up the process? oh, that's right, we do that by eating shit called meat, dairy and eggs that kills us off at an early age, right?

  • Don't look at it as a sad situation...She is reunited with her parents again...What a homegoing.

  • It is sad! She was a great speaker and very compassionate towards everyone. Her loss is another blow to civil rights in this day and time of need. God Bless her and the King Family!

  • She will be missed

  • although this was spoken 7 years ago, it's still very powerful, applicable words. god bless her and her beautiful voice, soul and compassion. can anyone tell me what happened to her? i'm so sad to hear she's passed away recently. when? why? oh it's sad but this speech proves her voice of truth rings on....thank god...literally. namaste everyone...from lisa
