Hey every body i Want to get one of this IMacs and I have some Questions !

-I know that you can costume it and there are 2 Video cards that you can chose and i was wondering if the ATI Radeo is better than the G-Forse

-And if you can change its video card easy.

i honestly think that apple uses a 3.2 dual core and they underclock it to 3.06 due to inadequate cooling.. it would be fun to mess around with the settings on tht beast.. if it has an overclockable mobo... hmmm interesting

not only for some games... for no games... it means it has a total of 6.1 gagahertz in a minimum of 2 programs.. so if you have a 3.06 gigahertz progrma running in the background

and a 3.06 gigahertz running in the foreground.. you are using a total of 6.2 gigahertz...

way rip off imo.. Im getting an iMac too, but refurbished.. I honestly think its a waste to go for the high end macs.. wayyy too overpriced.. but if ur rich then I guess it doesnt matter..

I see your point, but the "high end imacs" are used by professionals like for animating and editing videos and music. I have to get one for my college classes for animation and video editing!!!! They are good for stuff like that. :)

i say order the 3.06GHz but upgrae the hdd and ram yourself for like a quarter of the price apple charges. some times they may give you shit if something goes wrong on the computer and you send it in with 'mod' parts in it. but many times they just fix it and don't hassle you about warranties.

or just keep the original hdd and ram handy in case something goes wrong. which it probably won't.

can u get the imac 3.06 GHz at an apple retail store? cause i know you can get the 2.0 2.4 and 2.8 GHz but im just wondering about the 3.06
