This song was actually written in memory of his best friend. He was at a lake/pool with his friend swimming and his friend started drowning (they were young), he looked over to a man and called him to help and the man looked and kept walking ignoring him. His best friend drowned as a result. He then spoke to the police and told them about this man that didn't help, the man then denied it, and police believed the man as Phil was only young. Thats what this song is about....Very emotional!
