  • Excellent documentary! Thank you for posting this.

  • she would make some kind, sweet ,loving guy a great homemaker/wife.

  • out of the care takers in the mogilino there was one lady that seemed the nicest one

  • this lady lets vasky sallow it the other lady feeding her was just stuffing it down her throat i bet the lady did that so she could sit on her fat ass .

  • i wounder what happen to todor i went there in 2009 to the first deaf school for deaf and heard of hearing children and i was looking forword to seeing him but he was not at the school :(

  • I cried at the end when that child got into her arms. That poor baby just wanted to be held.

  • Bulgarias abandoned childrens documentry was the most moving tv documentry i have ever seen, i havebeen to Bulgaria on a charity feed the hungry so have seen homelessness but this is really shocking but has a happier ending! the journalist did the most amazing and courageous portrayal of something that the world should see and pleased that it has improved. Thank you

  • they look so happy now, milens face when he thought he was going to go back to moglinio he looked so scared until the nurse told him that he wasnt going back there, bless him he is such a good boy and the difference in vaskey was unbelievable, she was very happy and talking away, good luck to these babies i hope all the best for them, they deserve it

  • Milen is CUTE

  • Its so good to see the children happy and thriving! I saw this documentary when it first came out and always wondered what happened to them.

  • im so happy with the way this ended ,,now i have tears of joy,,,may god bless this women, and all the people that at the end help'd out.....and may god bless all these beautiful children,,....

  • thank god they are ok now

  • What joy did this bring to my heart... so so so relieved that they are all doing so well, I will be able to sleep again tonight <3

  • This was the most sad story

  • Great, can't stop crying.. Tears of joy!!

  • oh my DEAR GOD THANKYOU for ths gift of compassion and human decensy that this brave and most beautiful ANGEL has given the world to see, we are are not ll evil we are not without compassion we are humans that love and care and this journalist and her troop prove that in the fact they kept going back to make the lives of those blessed children become alive and really truly live....

  • milichkite dushici. Bog da gi blagoslovi !

  • That damn near tore my heart out when that little boy reached to hug Kate. What a good person she is.

  • This is a horrific story, with a (hopefully) optimistic ending. I admire this woman for putting her heart and soul into this project because she has changed the lives of so many children. Not just in Moliginio, but all over Bulgaria..

I honestly hope that very soon, all people, regardless of mental state, colour, race, sex or sexuality are treated equally - because we all are.

Thank you Kate, and thank you uploader.

  • Wow!! That was powerful. Kate you are amazing. You touched and saved those children's lives. That last part had me bawling, all they want is to be loved.

  • The end where the little boy reached out for a hug was so sad, all these children need is some love.

  • the part at the end when the boy stopped rocking when Kate gave him her hand, and he immediately went to hug her, I bawled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • not all bulgarian child workers are uncaring clearly, but homes like mogilino are a disgrace and disabled children who are the most vulnerable need love the most. it should never be like that.

  • Aw Milen, worrying about Kate going back to Mogilino. He's so sweet. Thank you for uploading this. Let's hope and put our hands together, so that many more children will be saved.

  • This kinda saddens me. I'm happy for Didi, Milen, Vasky and Misho...but there's still a long way to go. there's still over 8 thousand other children left to go. If only all of them could be saved. There must be reform. I'm happy for those four children, but it still saddens me that there's plenty more out there desperately crying out for help. :(

  • This is great! This really touched my heart.. I don't have any words for it, I will do anything to help these children. They don't deserve it.

(Maybe stupid, but what is the name of the song at the end?)

  • The kid at the end reaching for a single hug from someone was heartbreaking. It's sad that there are so many other places where this is happens as well. As a Marine, I saw it day in and day out, and as a father, I could never imagine sending my child away and never seeing them. I'm glad some of these children got their hugs in the end. The will these kids have is amazing.

  • @g5turbo81 how do you think he knew what a hug was when he ws never hugged?

  • In a way we should thank Mogilino... They could have denied the whole filming of the documentary and allowed the silent torture of these children......... Whatever their intent was, it led to an awesome outcome :)

  • I must say that Didi is so beautiful and Vasky is adorable! I'm glad to see how their lives and other kids' have improved. Thank you Kate!

  • I saw Kate's film first film about these children three years ago. I didn't know she did a revisted episode. Thank God for Kate! I was so worried about these children, Didi especially. It's so touching to see her thriving and going to school.

  • I'm a 22 year old men!! And I just cryed of happyness!!!

  • Thank you so much for sharing this story with us. What an incredibly touching and enlightening piece on courage, love and hope. I pray that it continues to draw attention to the plight of defenseless children in institutions worldwide, and move people to do good by them.

  • ..they say that 'there walks angels among us'! "Thankyou" Katie, you took me on your journey of heartbreak. it had a better out come for the unforgotten children of bulgarias horrifying death houses to which my eyes were blind to... among many thousands of people all over the world. Thank God Mogilino has been closed down! love and light be with you always.

  • All I can say, it finally ended with Mogilino. I am happy for the children that gained the wright care at the end. Thank God, and many thanks to Kate. She really did the right thing!

  • This documentary has truely touched an changed my selfish thought's that my life is hard, these poor babies. if there was a god over seeing us how could he allow this to happen. may the energies of life take these babies to a new wave of light when they shall pass. My heart truely hurt's. blessings of life an love. sev7n

  • vasky and Didi is just sweethearts...

  • Good, good work done. I am especially pleased to see that Vasky is so much better now. I love to hear her talk and laugh.

  • We should donate all te money we would spent on that crap JSF planes to those children, that would be much better.

    Great journalist.

  • How can it be that no one sees whats going on there and why noone helps them. It brokes my hart. I can´t whats this without crying. I want to take all them and adopt them! :( God help them, please! :(

  • for this same reason i will abort if i have a baby with problems. is not for me but 4 da child as well. if he lives i know he is going to suffer and even if he learns a little bit about how to take care of himself it's not going to b enough. he is going to suffer more once i died. so i guess is better to abort rather than bringing him or her to hell.

  • @kimberly1692 Why would you think that if you live in the US though? This just goes to show how people born with disabilities can have a happy and fulfilled life when given the right attention and care.

  • I cant explain how heartbroken I felt watching this documentary. I cant believe people could do this to children who are in need of care and love. I really broke down at 7 minutes. All these children need is affection and time to teach them, and you could clearly see that in that moment. I wish I could be there with those children and love and care for them, because they dont deserve this.

  • After the first film i cried for those poor children, how wonderful to see how far they have come! Vasty is a cheeky little imp, who would've imagined that!!! Thankyou SO much for uploading this, Kate Blewitt is a courageous woman and fights for kids forgotten by everyone else. Didn't she do "The dying rooms" in china? The world would be a better place with more people like her in it xXx

  • very hard to see children growing up like this. this is really dishonour to this children. Good to see they are in better groups now en they are doing better.

when I see video's like this, I wish I could go there immediately and charish this children, just by giving them attention and love.

Maybe, in future, I will :-)

  • i finally found some closure after seeing the first documentry, very moving...Ilove Kate Blewette she deserves the noble Peace Prize, she has contributed ALOT for children worldwide, God Bless This Great Woman.

  • WISH I COULD HUG AND ROCK THEM TO

  • GOOD TO SEE THESE KIDS ARE BETTER NOW

  • it is nice that vasky mom wants to visit her. i hope she does.

  • If you have power this is what you should be using it for thanks to the journalist, and others who removed them.

  • Great they got shut down now lets make sure these things will be seen. Technology can be bad but this is the good side of it. Lets make sure this never is going to happen in other homes again.

  • Blewett's documentary illustrates the human paradox: such capacity for malice, and such capacity for kindness. The transformative power of love is nowhere better captured, than in the changed lives of the inmates of Mogilino. Thank you for uploading this film.

  • 8000 more children that need help! I really would like to know how best to help! Where to start, I would like to do more than just dontate money.

  • Can we help can we send them anything?

  • @TheBeautifulfreak there is an organisation called Reeces Rainbow that advocates and supports US and Canadian families who what to adopt special needs children granted their main focus is downs syndrome but they have other special needs too

Bulgaria is a pretty easy country to adopt from they dont have too many restrictions and its relativly cheap (well for international adoption)

Now how do we get Kate to go to Ukraine and change things there too as things are almost as bad there

  • Thanks for uploading these. Yours shows the 1st visit and the last and shows the difference in there lives, looking at there faces before and after shows alot. There so happy now.

  • It's so nice to see that these children are in such good hands now!!!! I really think this proves that making these documentaries helps making the difference.

  • i am impressed of the result cant believe this happens arround the world we have to open our eyes to sea it

  • @trisha223 to SEE it

  • If this journalist does nothing else with her life she has truly done one of the most amazing and courageous things with her life, she gave those children eyes the world over. Thankyou for uploading this!
