  • u no the way u got them outta the egg y can twins not get out of the egg themselves

  • more vids? THERE HAS NOT BEEN ANY FOR YEARS!

  • did one of the chicks die?!?!? if it did i will be very sad. =(

  • That one that died looked like it died when it was forming; not because you didn't get to it in time. [Eyes, head] Also, the body is small and weak looking.

Does twins grow in that family?

  • This is awesome thanks for sharing , sad about triples brother or sister poor Lil thing , it's such a shame when the poor chick had gone so far but didn't Make it :0(

Please keep the videos coming on their development :o)

  • there so FLUFFY and adorible

    \

  • they are making frds~ how cute

  • SO FLUFFY!!!

  • Be funny if 1 went Cock-a-doodle-dooooo. Or 1 started walking around like Fog Horn Leg Horn from the cartoons.

  • arre you an expert at this?

  • its too bad when i was 7 i help a chick out of and egg turns out the head was only formed

  • Aw too bad I stepped on one when I was a kid

  • aw! :D

  • Lucky, I tried helping a chick out of an egg and it didn't go so well

  • How do you know if a egg is a double yolker?

  • aww im sorry that the other one died :(

  • You do a great job here!. My sister was thinking about hatching some chicks herself :)

  • hope you make another vid of the twins ^_^ subscribed

  • Any updates? :)

  • thumbs up if they are cuteee!!!!!!!

  • @comedyvideomaker1

The chick had no eyes, a crooked beak and a swollen head, chances are it was dead a while before she started to help them hatch

  • @comedyvideomaker1 Twin chickens have a small hatch rate due to there only being one air sac in the egg, one being stronger than the other, etc. There is a chance that one will hatch but the other will die. It's rare that both chicks live.

She did a great thing helping those babies hatch. Of course, nothing could be done about the deformed one, but she knew the anatomy of the egg and she knew when not to go too far. I don't recommend helping chicks hatch, but there's always exceptions.

  • how did u make ur own incubator

  • My hen currently lay 1 twin eggs. It's huge. I don't know It will survive. The rest of the eggs are so small. This one is just huge. It's double the size.

  • Aaaaaaawwww they're so tiny and fluffy!! >w<

  • Wow ... <3

  • LOL IM WATCHING THIS ON NOV. 11 XD

  • Awwww im so SORRY that the 4th chick Didnt Hatch God Bless You !!!!!!!!!!

  • how do u know when their twins o.0?

  • @KyokoVs

i think, the egg is bigger as the other..

  • They are not identical. They would have both had to come from one yoke for that. It was a double yoke egg, hence, not identical.

  • @tallgrassparrot yea because the yolk splits in early development!

  • You've done a great job with both the twin chickens and the video also. You have a steady hand and this was a great assist to watch! Thanks for posting this.

  • also, the embryo is kindof floating...

  • how long do you leave them in the incubator after they hatch and do they all hatch around the same time or within a few days apart??

  • Great job! It looks #4 didn't finish forming anyway, you couldn't have saved it. I had identical twin buff bantam cochin sisters that were like 2 of the same chicken-did everything together, never more than 6 inches apart, even brooded chicks together! It was a bit creepy. *L* Nobody believed they were twins until they saw them. We called them 'The Chicken Sisters' because we couldn't tell one from the other! Thanks for the video, very valuable to see! :)

  • You did an excellent job of assisting them. Non-bird raisers do not know that sometimes a little help is needed to hatch a chick.........and a knife or sharp instrument is needed to break and cut shell and membrane. It is not something for a beginner to attempt, but is a great assist if performed by an experienced person. I go through this procedure every year with at least one or two chicks. Congrats on your hatchlings. :)

  • Finally proof!! I had a button double yoker that produced two perfect chicks. No one would believe me that it was even possible. The egg was larger than the others but I still incubated it. two very small chicks came out and are alive and well. Nature is weird, but people are even weirder not to understand anything is possible.

If I get another one will document its hatching to prove it to the non believers.

  • Only a seasoned poultry fancier would understand that 2 chics in one egg makes it extremely difficult for them to hatch without help ( no room to maneuver into position to get out) so helping in this situation is perfectly fine!!!!!! -

  • WOW, I have never seen this before. I didn´t knew it is possible. Sad for chick number 4.

  • Wow i think you are so lucky ...i want to have something like that

  • I think you did a great job helping those chicks hatch. Well done!

  • Why the hell is she using a knife and STROKING the chick with THAT KNIFE

  • lol she is breaking into the chickens membrane as the twins are seperated with a light clear film well mine was at least i hope she wasnt stroking it with the knife

  • what dose fresh bood mean and why do they have it

  • Were they bloody from being hurt, or just bloody because they were newborns?

  • can u tell me how u made ur incubator if u did

  • what kind of chickens were they?

  • I'm sorry for the loss of Quadruplet (Is that the name of the chick that died?)

  • the shell said lol

  • a miracle and a half, because you got twins and one from a dubble yoke.

  • What happened to them? Do you have new videos of them. Please let us know.

  • so why are they bleeding and how do you know when their are two chicks in one egg

  • Aww there so cute. I didn't know that twin chickens were possible but miracles happen!

  • is it ok to help them to hacth??

how would you know that they are ready

  • My word, it brought a tear to my eye about the 4th one. :( But so sweet to see the three others so fluffy! Thanks for sharing this video...

  • they are ridiculously sweet

shame about the little guy who didnt make it, but 3/4 aint bad

  • OMG they do look almost just like one of the ones i have. What type of chicken are they?

  • The roo is a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte and the hen is a Rhode Island Red.

  • ok cool well now i at least know what my one might be than :D Thanks and good luck

  • @needmorechickens I have all Rhode island reds, they don't brood very well.

it's like all they do is lay eggs, eat, drink, walk around, sleep, and poop.

  • @needmorechickens

It's impossible to have two purebreed out of the same egg.

  • @molinobeer thats cuz the arent purebreed the mom and dad are diffrent

  • @sharoyn64

@needmorechickens said "The roo is a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte and the hen is a Rhode Island Red."

It is not possible, so it is not true, you can't have a a twins of the same egg being purebreds of different breeds if their conception is natural, no discussion about it. Period.

  • @molinobeer She never said they were 100% purebred. My silkies are not purebred as they have showgirl way back in their bloodline, but I still refer to them as silkies. Be respectful.

  • @TheGoddessofMetal i have pure bred wyandottes silkies and eds just saying i love chickens :)

vote up if you agree THIS is the real magic of birth

  • @TheGoddessofMetal

Saying they are somethig (breed) is saying they are that breed. Not 100% not that breed. Period.

  • @molinobeer that is a contradictory statement.

    Period!

  • @needmorechickens What does it mean when you get Fresh blood ? is it when yo cut the veins in the egg ?

    Thank you.
