I have every Spyro game except for Year of the Dragon, Attack of the Rhynocs, and Shadow Legacy. Im a huge fame of Spyro, ever since I was 5 in 2003. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage was my first ever video game, then I got the first one a year later ad the rest in 2006-2008 era. I love this game even, and I never want this franchise to end!!!

here is how to beat the thunder avatar easy:save up your fury.use earth.use your fury on the thunder avatar and finish him of with earth.

Though the PS2 version has better graphics, better SFX and better all the way around, I still think that the GBA version is kinda cool because you don't have to fall off the cliff at the second and third boss battle underground and you actually have regenerating power. The PS2 doesn't, but I still vote for the PS2 for better all the way around effects. :)

I've finished spyro in hard mode, it was VERY difficult for me because i was playing with a keyboard in my PC, now i can revenge using dark spyro.

Ahhh... Such a great game. Brings back so many fond memories. Even though the story isn't as good as its PS2 counterpart, I still love the game. Mostly because of its gameplay. I loved the combo system and its benefits. I give it an 8/10 justlike you ArtificialRaven. Great job with the boss runthough.

Actually, this is false. The serie was rebooted ; A New Beginning and The Eternal Night do not take place before Spyro 1 on the PS1.

This is an official statement from the companies that made the game, I believe. Also, if you try to get the two series together, you'll notice that this create plotholes (for exemple, how could Hunter be even mentionned in TEN if the game take place before Ripto's Rage?).

Beating Hard mode on the GBA version will net you Dark mode, the final difficulty mode. It's the easiest difficulty mode actually.

in the ps2 version, you have to beat all five of the dragon challenges to be dark spyro. i've also played every spyro games they ever made. seve all together but done by three different companies. ps2 is way better and its alot harder. i wonder what happens to them when they wake up.
