Definitely, one of Roland's best interviews. It is extremely insightful to hear his "feelings" about listening to an artist like Oletta, who evokes so much emotion in him (and Curt).
Wow, That's all I can say. It's neat that TFF was willing to take a deep look at how to connect with their music and fans. I'm glad they had that moment it the bar that night. They are a great talent on their own. I'm black i love all kinds of music from soul to metal and all the in between. but grabs me the most is music that reaches in your chest and makes you feel it. I too grow up singing gospel. Man what a moment they had in that bar. And it shows in TFF music till 2 day he is so cute...
@webwezal- I'll never forget that experience when I first heard her singing 'I Believe' live in a concert that was shown on TV once (this was before I had any idea who she was and also I wasn't too familiar with Tears for Fears and their records at that time). But it was so "out-of-this-world" experience that I was hypnotised by the beauty and range of her vocals! It was incredible to say the least.
Roland is so right she has the power to make you cry! I cried as she sang live at the BB King Club. She is the most charismatic person I have ever seen, has the most beautiful and hypnotizing eyes!!!! And she can be funny, too :-) I wish everybody who appreciate her voice and talent could see her live. It is a life time experience.
Oh, Roland you're so right about it, about Oleta Adams: ' I think that's something which... which she does which is goes beyond the color of anybody skin. ' =)
Qué hermoso hermoso que sos!!!!!! Roland sos el hombre de mis sueños, I Love you :)

I find this guy very interesting.
And I agree The Seeds of Love turned out a very serious piece of work.

So, Curt and Roland cry at certain music too? Not only are they great musicians, they're sensitive musicians.
