I dont think it sounds right. I dunno but it sounds kinda dirty even though theyre honda parts. Was there a loss of power on the low end? I remember when i took my muffler off and rolled around for like a week i stalled it a few times and had to give a lil more revs to get goin

i hate people who let their dogs just bark at nothing for no reason for hours on end. it would bother me if my dog was barking like that. can't they hear it? i can hear it and i'm 4 houses away. i have a honda fit. i like that exhaust.

dam, that doesn't sound too bad for just a stock muffler strapped onto a fit, it would be nice for daily driving because you cant really hear it unless you romp on it which is nice to not piss of the neighbors or for noise tickets

It sounds good! I just picked up my Silver fit around 3 days ago, and this is a good example of a budget exhaust that still gets you some sound. Good Work!

What's required to get it to bolt on straight like that?

To put this on you will need a muffler shop.

They will then weld on custom hangers and custom bend some piping to connect it to the "y-pipe".

Then you get this little gem.

I like it because I spent about $50 on the muffler and another $50 on installation.

It's nice. not to loud. Looks like it's a factory part. Many people don't notice it's a modification unless they know a thing or two about Hondas.

I liked the way the Civic SI looked but wanted a 4 door.

I also wanted something with decent fuel economy since I just use it for commuting.

I like the European/Asian styling of JDM and DTM cars so I wanted something a little quirky and fun....

so that's why I purchased a Honda.

I put the Civic rear section on to make it sound a little more sporty and less asthmatic.

Sound is very subjective.

Some people like Opera..some like Heavy Metal.

I didn't like the overly trumpeting sound I was hearing from many of the canister style exhaust systems for the Fit.

I also don't really wanna submit my car to the cliche by just putting a canister style muffler on a Honda. I have no plans to further modify this car and I have to use it to commute. A booming exhaust's novelty would have worn off pretty quickly for me.

If I were to replace it, I'd look at the RS-R.

Funny, cause I used to have one and when fuel got to be $3.00 a gallon I realized how damn dumb it was to have one when I was having just as much fun with my 4cyl autos....

OBVIOUSLY a V8 sounds better and would be a lot faster....but V8's do not get 35mpg. Since I do not race my car, getting one that would be really fast was not really my top priority.

u can race a 4cyl too and there fast with proper modifications and tunning of course but the fit can actually throw a MEAN fit when it comes to racing it will throw down.(properly modified of course)DONT FORGET THAT
