  • @PUPPETTV1 thanks

  • My little pro-tip: When I know I'm going to be making patterns, I glue the prototype with either 77 or 74 spray adhesive. They're strong enough to hold the pieces together, but easily separate with a blow dryer.

I don't know how you glue with latex gloves on, I've tried, many times, and always end up bonding the gloves to my work! >.<

  • @PaulRayIsMe lol - yeah sometimes gloves are annoying but i've pretty much always done it so I don't find a problem with it anymore.

I do the spray adhesive thing too, but I'm all out at the moment :)

  • @hellyersonline Well, I salute you for not slowly poisoning yourself like I do. :oP

Do you always use the standard white/yellow mattress foam? I'm a big fan of grey "Scott" foam myself. It is more expensive, but seems to last longer.

Since transplanting from the US, I haven't been able to find Muppet Fleece. It's way too expensive to ship to Singapore. Do you have a supplier in the UK?

  • @PaulRayIsMe I'll prototype with whatever is at hand but the final puppets I always build out of reticulated foam (Scott Foam) and mini-cell foam. Antron seems to go through phases of availability. It's rarely available in the UK but I order it in from the US when I need it.
