@HateRiFicX because they are a bigger company and their advertising department makes poor lonely souls beleive they are elite for buying alienware.
cyberpower and ibuypower are cheaper / better imo however they do have some quality control problems.
IMO everyone should just build their own rig, completely your choice what to put in there and the quality control is magnificent (unless you aren't magnificent). also building it urself is the cheapest and better than buying from alie
@HateRiFicX becasue alien ware is a named brand. I have a area 51 and trust me they are worth the extra 500$. People say they are a rip but they arnt. You pay for quality and amazing service. If it breaks or something happens with in 3 years they will fix it no charge and GIVE you one to play with while they fix it! I'd go with alienware
Do not buy from Cyberpower. They don't respond to technical emails if your system crashes like mine did after unboxing it. really frustrating. I had to try and fix it on my own. They aren't American technicians. They are Vietnamese. They don't know shit about assembling systems. They even forget to put all fans in your system after you purchases them. pretty shaddy. I suggest build your own gaming rig. Oh and they charge you for every little thing. Save your money and build your own. Cheap junk!
Don't buy from Cyberpower they consistently gets bad reviews for all the broken computers they ship out. If you don't believe me type in Cyberpower reviews in google, and go through it. Try Ironsidecomputers(dot)com instead. Those guys consistently do a great job.
@techstuff76 Dont have a dog, so, your out of luck. And how about you stay in school and learn more about the english language you illiterate fucking faggot.
Haven't finished watching - though I am loving your review so far, as I've just ordered a PC from cyberpower only to be posthumously acquainted with the horribad experiences from some people.
That said -- and I mean no offense -- you remind me of that salvager from Dantooine on KOTOR II who tries to sell you on that imitation Jedi holocron. :D
Lol You Got Ripped Off I'm Getting One Of Those Fer $490 Off Walmart Even If It's Not As Good Srry Man Still Sounds Like A Great PC So Thx For The Review
CP is run by a couple of Chinese guys I think so buyer beware! My CP came with the media reader attached by only ONE screw (you could push it into the case), the USB 3.0 on the front didn't work and after 5 days the system would lockup everytime I booted it within 10 seconds, often locking up before it even got to Windows.
This is my 3rd and last Cyberpower, they have no quality control whatsoever and YOU have to pay return shipping for their screwups. Buyer beware!
i bought a pc from cyberpowerpc too. When i started the pc after few minutes it gave me the blue screen. And i couldnt download steam when i tried. Its in for repare as i type :( does anyone know why the blue screen come up? They told me (cyberpowerpc) it was memory stick.
First off, build your own shit cheaper and smarter. Second....you make me mad I don't know WTF it is but you have a voice and face I just want to SMASH with my foot as you lay on the ground....idk neways enjoy
I got a laptop from cyberpower about 2 years ago. Have had nothing but problems with it. Will never buy another product from them again. Of course, when I emailed asking about the refund (as stipulated in the warranty), my email was ignored. Rip-off. And no, I'm not a competitor. I'm a student whose peice of shit laptop shuts off randomly, crashes, overheats, and the battery, which has been replaced twice, doesn't actually work.
not being funny but his pc aint all that, ive just bought a q6600 chip well its in a hole computer that ill be stripping(One of them Packard bell ipower with seethru side) his pc is fast yeah but i will be maxing out my ram slots, crossfiring my graphics over clocking my chip and i really want to stripe my harddrives. and i have 2 of them monitors he has. im running a gaming rig at the min that would choke this.
@SaucyBegger25, computer technology is rapid and maxed out computers now will just be jokes, as far as bragging rights go, 6 months from now when new stuff hits the scene. Crysis is still a top power hog even with the latest technology and his computer runs it well enough to where he likes it.
@orlock20 well its not gonna be maxed out, not when you can fit 12gig of ram in your mobo. filling all your ram slots wont always make your pc faster tho. im in the middle of building a rig now. im just sourcing parts at the minute as ya do, on the waho. his pc is fast yes but its standed. a few tweaks and it could be faster. it could become unstable tho and thats just more time and hassle.
this may be a stupid computer but... does the cyper power computers you buy from the website deliver built.. or do you have to put it together... again may be a stupid question but i really need to know.
@malib0osted or kids who slam their computer around and open it up and stick their fingers in everything. most of the bad reviews have to do with shitty shipping which has nothing to do with them.
Just got my cyberpower pc today but right out of the box, it did not boot up at all, it just had power to the fans on it seemed. Tried reseating everything, started with one by one ram. Still nothing. I am suspecting faulty motherboard. Nothing showed up on monitor. Even tried another monitor, different gpu, no go still.
Faulty mobo maybe.
Very dissappointed today as i am awaiting an RMA so i can ship it back tomorrow. This was not a great experience as i've waited for 2 weeks for this PC!
nice vid man! i want to put together a gaming pc of my own but i dont know what components go with what my spending limit is 2300. do you have any suggestions? i want the system to be good for me for a long time.
you can build a computer than can run source games for like 300 bucks. if ur just gonna play source games ie css l4d tf2 etc. i wouldnt go nuts with ur build.
This was all customized from the Mega Special III because the shipping is free so i can get more for my money. Its not incredible but i can support Crysis pretty well almost every other game.
I worked out the price to be about 30 quid less than buying from CCL so it's ok imo lol, if you want to overclock etc then maybe it'd be better to build, but I'd still say it's worth it for the warrenty.
99.9% of the people with Cyberpowerpc complaints are due to stuff that got dislodged in shipping.
I live about 20 minutes from Cyberpower and have picked up several rigs in the past with ZERO problems. Those babies are ready to go right out of the box.
Someone did a test of performance with a 3gb system a 6gb system and a 12gb system, and all the benchmarks showed minimal if not any changes in performance for normal use and high end gaming.
RAM is mainly needed for video editing/ design and other rendering tasks.
i've played a game like crysis warhead on a 3gb rig & 4gb rig with identical specs otherwise and the 4gb was running at very high with much better results.
I run crysis warhead at 60fps average on very high on 3gb, triple channel is faster than dual channel too remember so if I was to get more i'd get 6gb so price gap a lil bigger. The graphics card is what matters in games really, and VRAM. If there was a difference it wouldn't be noticable at all. The benchmarks show the results anyway and they came out with no difference so I don't know what happened on those systems XD
Probably not real well. Laptops really aren't that great for gaming but most other games it should be able to handle decent enough. Crysis is a really demanding game for a computer. Don't expect to get anything over 35 fps
i just got a laptop off of cyberpowerpc, i just ordered one with a 4650 Radeon HD Mobile 512 MB, do you think it can play Team Fortress 2, CSS, Any source engine game on high settings with NO LAG? i would like to know,
lol i did a LOT of research its just that people are dumb dicks and they make shit up, this one guy said he could play crysis with 76 fps with the video card. and others said 23 fps, i just need a hard honest answer
Cyberpower is great the price part for part from newegg is almost the same but cyberpower is cheaper because of shipping in 1 package also its pre-built great customer support if you want to play crysis on high for a good cost get a $200 cpu a 9800Gtx+ or a gts 250 a 650w power supply a 500gb hdd and umm thats about all you need get 8gb of ram dont be a cheap ass :D its worth it
Nice rig! Not bad.. You were very descriptive on this video xD
And guys he bought this rig a year ago, Then would cost $1100 but now merely $700.. even less... If we got a hardcore gaming rig now... in a year the rig would cost waaay less.
Wow what a dick this slatny eyed fuckwit is. Should have shot your family in nam you ugly fucking gook. If you didn't have such shitty eyes you would notice he posted this at start of last year you dumb fuck. Leave the guy alone, stupid little gay virgin kids like you do my nut in. Go fuck a donkey dumb arse.
the idiots that are commenting on how theres are better than his for a better price....look at the dates....it is obvious that none of you are tech savy b/c technology changes rapidly in a year...and i even know that... and im not a tech master......im rotfl at how stupid u guys are....
your computer is crap for $1100, don't show it off if u don't have anything to show off!!! and u know nothing about computers, becuz if u did u would have built your own gaming rig instead of buying one.
i built my own, and its way better than ur piece of dog shit!
В компьютерах я хоть и полный чайник))и мой комметнарий не к теме) но всё же хочется приметить, что очень интересно слышать твой голос на англиском)))
for all people commenting on their purchases - great deals and great value....Obviously the same configuration today costs way cheaper than if the PC was bought a year ago (I bought mine a year ago, and then it was as good of a deal as one can get)
@DumbBanus Hey you have the same monitor as mine. What resolution do you play on? I have the ASSON 1000 case, i think thats what its called, the big fan on the side. When i get my pc back maybe we can play together.
@DumbBanus Mine cose 2300 and I haven't gotten it yet, I'm now leaning towards the regret side of buying because my guy "Steve" hasn't givin me any feedback, although I have gotten the Rush Shipping so. I'm a little dissapointed.
i have almost the exact thing as you and i bought it from cyberpowerpc and i am having start up problems with it and their technician told me to do the paper clip trick but it didint work so im gonna send it in
Hi DumbBanus. Thnx for this helpful vid, I'm considering getting a system from c'power uk....But I'm also thinking about building too. Would you trust them to build a high spec system for you ($1200-1500)? It'll be a 3 way sli m/board etc. Oh btw Pink Floyd are fantastic! I love playing their songs on my stratocaster hehe. Anyway, advice would be appreciated...Happy New Year to you!
GTA IV seems to be stressing the hardware even more than Crysis did...running with textures on medium, renders on the highest setting, and the distance meters considerably down...yet it still looks amazing
are u sure its safe to buy from them because they're are alot of feed backs saying the computers would die in a matter of days or that hte computer wouldn't turn on i need help
Once again I cant give you full assurance that everything will work out of the box, or that nothing will break...but Ive owned this PC for close to a year and nothing has failed on me. I guess its just about weighing the risk of hardware failure against the value you get from your money, and deciding for yourself if its worth it...
I cant comment on the price of the CPU itself, due to the fact that Cyberpowerpc buys their hardware for prices which are undesclosed to the buyer of the whole PC.
Thats correct there is one fan in the front, 2 in the back, and one on the side. The top fan is not standard but assuming you order extra case fans, its where they will go. I do not reccomend getting extra fans, primarily becaue they are not needed, but also because I ordered extra fans and they never came! I made sure to get my 6 bucks back though - called them and made it clear to them that only default fans were installed.
The computer is running well...no hardware failures. Im playing Far Cry 2 and Dead Space right now, with Fallout 3 still downloading. Far Cry 2 has more eye candy and it runs better than Crysis with all of the setting maxed out except for the shadows (they are on very high, not ultra). Dead space runs without a hiccup.
These days Im sure it would add up to a few hundred dollars cheaper if I were to buy the hardware from Newegg or something...but last November, which is when I bought it, buying seperate components would have actually been more expensiv than using Cyberpowerpc

i just got a laptop off of cyberpowerpc, i just ordered one with a 4650 Radeon HD Mobile 512 MB, do you think it can play Team Fortress 2, CSS, Any source engine game on high settings with NO LAG? i would like to know,
bonecracker1123 2 years ago
Yes, in the future, research before you order.
Still, it isnt that great a card, and I guess you'll shoot yourself in the foot later on.
DullerCorpse 2 years ago
so i'll shoot my foot because i can't play crysis, or because i can't play the source engine games
bonecracker1123 2 years ago
I hope you know I was exagerating.
Oh and the source games are one of the best series on the pc.
DullerCorpse 2 years ago
i know that, i have a lot on Steam but that didn't really answer my question. what could the settings be on Crysis if i had that card.
thanks
bonecracker1123 2 years ago
Not great, you may be able to get it around 30 if you compromise on settings
DullerCorpse 2 years ago
so if i were to play team fortress 2, what settings would i put it at for smooth game play?
What about css, gmod, source engine games.
and what would crysis play at?
thanks
bonecracker1123 2 years ago
Not to be overly offensive, but what the fuck? Search some videos yourself or google.
DullerCorpse 2 years ago
lol i did a LOT of research its just that people are dumb dicks and they make shit up, this one guy said he could play crysis with 76 fps with the video card. and others said 23 fps, i just need a hard honest answer
bonecracker1123 2 years ago

Nice rig! Not bad.. You were very descriptive on this video xD
And guys he bought this rig a year ago, Then would cost $1100 but now merely $700.. even less... If we got a hardcore gaming rig now... in a year the rig would cost waaay less.

for all people commenting on their purchases - great deals and great value....Obviously the same configuration today costs way cheaper than if the PC was bought a year ago (I bought mine a year ago, and then it was as good of a deal as one can get)
DumbBanus 3 years ago
@DumbBanus Hey you have the same monitor as mine. What resolution do you play on? I have the ASSON 1000 case, i think thats what its called, the big fan on the side. When i get my pc back maybe we can play together.
uphill248 1 year ago
@DumbBanus Mine cose 2300 and I haven't gotten it yet, I'm now leaning towards the regret side of buying because my guy "Steve" hasn't givin me any feedback, although I have gotten the Rush Shipping so. I'm a little dissapointed.

DumbBanus 3 years ago
love your review man i want one just like it except maybe red l.e.d cause blue to common and wanted something little diffrent lol

are u sure its safe to buy from them because they're are alot of feed backs saying the computers would die in a matter of days or that hte computer wouldn't turn on i need help
2346 3 years ago
Once again I cant give you full assurance that everything will work out of the box, or that nothing will break...but Ive owned this PC for close to a year and nothing has failed on me. I guess its just about weighing the risk of hardware failure against the value you get from your money, and deciding for yourself if its worth it...
DumbBanus 3 years ago
might be cheaper and safer to just build but what 13 year old like me buy good part to build a good computer for under 400 bucks

E1PLAYMAKER 3 years ago
I cant comment on the price of the CPU itself, due to the fact that Cyberpowerpc buys their hardware for prices which are undesclosed to the buyer of the whole PC.
DumbBanus 3 years ago
Can you explain exactly what went down with the fans?
Its supposed to have 1 fan in the front, 2 fans in the back and 1 one the side with the option to add an extra fan on the top.
I need to know because im going to be buying the same case on my cyberpower and I want the top case fan. Thanks.
j00jy 3 years ago
Thats correct there is one fan in the front, 2 in the back, and one on the side. The top fan is not standard but assuming you order extra case fans, its where they will go. I do not reccomend getting extra fans, primarily becaue they are not needed, but also because I ordered extra fans and they never came! I made sure to get my 6 bucks back though - called them and made it clear to them that only default fans were installed.
DumbBanus 3 years ago
Im living down in Florida where it is ridiculously hot and im going to be using aircooling on the CPU so the top fan would be useful.
Ill probably e-mail them or call and tell them specifically that I want my extra case fan installed on the top.
Thanks for this review!

hows that comp running still?
papasmurftw 3 years ago
The computer is running well...no hardware failures. Im playing Far Cry 2 and Dead Space right now, with Fallout 3 still downloading. Far Cry 2 has more eye candy and it runs better than Crysis with all of the setting maxed out except for the shadows (they are on very high, not ultra). Dead space runs without a hiccup.

it takes like a couple weeks to a month, and depends, what kind of comp did u get?

Could built it for a better price ....
funcrazy123 3 years ago
These days Im sure it would add up to a few hundred dollars cheaper if I were to buy the hardware from Newegg or something...but last November, which is when I bought it, buying seperate components would have actually been more expensiv than using Cyberpowerpc
