This is an excellent talk thank you very much. Such views are incredibly important today as open sharing practices online emerge as a countervailing power against that of institutional (media industry) interests.

As Lessig puts it, its ludicrous to have a copyright structure that essentially criminalizes entire generations of young people who take it as a given right to quote and share information in the production of personal identities and social relations.

This is truly fascinating. Barlow's viewpoints, visiion and understanding are undoubtedly expansive in concept to our future co-existence as a species in this technological but ethically challenged age. Invaluable.
