we have these at work, they sound like shit! Do not buy, waste of money!

how the fuck are these powered? - Kryptonite, cats tears!??? I want to see where the batteries go, what the batteries look like, if it even takes batteries, or what the cables look like - why is this? These speakers are pissing me off! Something very dubious about this lack of crucial info - ie its a chore/expensive to use wireless or doesnt look as good with cables. And Philip Stark hasn't good aesthetics for choosing trousers.

u re paying $1600 for the design... not for sound quality...

The average consumer can't afford these at $1,600.00 a pair. Besides, since the woofers face downward they won't sound so well on carpet flooring. Will have to be placed on a table top or non-carpeted surface. Lot of money for such picky placement speakers.

@signbaby sub woffers face downward to direct the vibration to the floor. its enjoyable that you can feel the beat on your feet. and yeah the main speakers are on the top.
