  • I can't stand the retards who act like this guy did anything wrong, who cares about a missed note here or there, everyone makes mistakes.

  • i love the marimba and your interpertation, great piece,

  • i love his tempos. is that the ones it is written at?

  • @deicticdrummer174- his interpertation is nice. he does change somethings thought were written but not drastically

  • The best interpretation. I have no idea why everyone else I've seen on youtube sucks so bad at this solo.

  • BEAUTIFUL SOUND

  • awesome job

  • I love this.

  • this is really nice :)

    great job!

  • questo sona proprio bene, cazzarola!!

  • grande! DEvo avere questo pezzo!

  • This is a great piece! And a perfect preformance :)

  • great solo

  • Doesn't this piece have no meter written? I recall listening to it in a masterclass.

  • Yep, there's no time signature, which is odd, since the composer calls it a dance.

  • hey retard, its a solo, you can do whatever you want with it, and maybe if you look at the music you would understand that alot of what you call "no time signature" is written.....also go what a professional play it

  • ummmmm

  • @TheDigitalMonk

  • Those durn 4ths in the left hand on the second repeat of the thesis melody! I didn't quite get it right in my rendition either. It's nice to hear a very well done interpretation of Stout's work. NICE JOB!

  • Aren't they 5ths? lol

  • Comment removed

  • @R3natoo that should be 5ths of course ;) I dont know if i hit anyone of the 4 trials.

  • I have heard Stout play this piece. He keeps it nice and smooth / flowy. Unless you've heard the composer talk about the piece, or play it, you do not know what they specifically want. The other side to this, though, is that yes there can be several interpretations to a piece. However, this piece is simple enough of a composition that too much flux makes it ridiculous. Multi-movement pieces do not always have to contrast dramatically. They can be in similar styles.

  • What happened with the musical interpretation, it does not have respect by the composer, In conclusion... there is no music.

Que pasó con la interpretación musical, no hay respeto por el compositor, en conclusión... no hay música.

  • I think the composer would like this interpretation. Gordon Stout is a very musical player, just like the player in this video.

  • is this piece available in a recording anywhere?

  • itunes

  • This is most def the best Two Mexican Dances on Youtube.

  • I thought the interpretation was fine. People have to remember that this movement in contrast to the first movements sweetness, and flow. This "dance" is more interpretive by nature.

  • you rush WAAAAAYYY too much in this piece. its a dance, not an epileptic fit... and then your middle part isn't cohesive. you also omitted several notes, entire sections, rests.. look at the music again and rethink your interpretation because not everything is 200bpm and fff with half the notes.

  • maybe he...likes playing it that way? hes the soloist he can do what he wants

  • You have inspired me to go practice.
