  • these guys are from my hometown

  • I'm probably really wrong, but I'm curious, were they listening to A7X 12 seconds in?

  • #2 at 3:48 :D

  • At 1:30ish you see that massive line to get in. Now I just went to one of their shows in RI and that was not the case at all. I got there about 30 minutes AFTER the doors opened and less than 20 people were inside. When anti-flag finally got onstage the venue was still probably not not even half full. I really hope that is just because of the area in which I live in and not because people don't find anti-flag relevant any more.

  • does anyone know what their real names are?

  • Chris has the coolest dogs!

  • XD #2 Singing Maxwell's Silver Hammer at 9:30. :D

  • Justin and Pat are 34, Chris Head and #2 are 27

  • dude welcome to the backstage party were totaly getting wasted ye,, sprinkle water...grr

    love that

  • me too

  • okay, i'm going to be honest. i just discovered anti-flag, and i liked their music so i went out and bought the cd "for blood and empire" and i relly like them and they're message. does that make me a poser? and if there's anyone who isn't going to be a total jerk about my being a new fan, could you give me some suggestions for other cds from anti-flag that are really good? and btw, they were singing maxwell's silver hammer. cool.

  • you most likely will only Terror State since it's most similiar, but if you wanna go back before RCA then listen to Underground Network and A New Kind of Army.

  • Thanks! I think I'll like the old stuff.

  • good job on discovering A-F...no that doesnt make you a poser, if you say..downloaded 1 song and said your a fan, then yeah you would be..theres no real suggestion to give though, but the farther back you go, the more punk the music gets. the newer stuff is more tame and focused.

depends on your taste, i like all of A-Fs music, but if i have to choose one era over the next, the newest is the best, cause i listen for meaning, not how they play...still up to you

  • i heard that song, die for your govenment and i really like it. do you know which cd that's on? i'm almost positive i will like all of thier music just about the same.

    thanks for the help!

  • the CD is caled Die For The Government...the cover has Pat Thetic, Justin Sane, and Andy Flag (ex member) on the cover, gagged/blinded against an american flag.

  • okay, that's a pretty obvious name. i feel stupid now, but i'll definately look for that. how long have they been around for anyway? i should look up a discography (i probably spelled that wrong). but thanks again!i am eternally greatful

  • i hate to advertise torrenting, but thats the fastest way to get the full discography...check out TorrentSpy(do//t)com...ive been seeding the full discography for the past few days, its had a pretty good health on it too =)

they band has been around since 1988, but didnt put out thier first real CD till '96. their current linup formed in '99

Die For The Government is thier debut =)

hope it helps (sorry for the late as hell reply lol)

  • no problem. i should problably spend less time on the computer and get a life myself. lol. i will definately buy that cd at some point. hopefully... thanks again!i'll go look that up.

  • NM =)

  • NP* A-F is pretty easy to get into, theyre really fun to see if you get the chance, thier shows are pure energy

  • i know, thier music is awesome! i'd love to see them live sometime!

  • saw them in march :)

check em on the next tour, theyre crazy good.

  • that would be so freakin awesome! :D

  • Anti-flag left Fat Wreck which I am not entirely happy about, if they keep heading in this same direction their music will end up sounding like pop punk. I still listen to the older Anti-Flag and a few of the songs on the new album.

However, being successful and having laptops and other gadgets that may cost a lot doesn't make you sell out.

I will admit their music may be scratching the surface of selling out.

  • all this talk of posers and sell-outs is boring

personally, i dont give a fuck if anyone thinks they sold out i love their message which is more prominent in my opinion WITHOUT andy flag although he was a nice addition at the time

  • New fans arent posers they are just new fans they will start listening to the old stuff when they discover it. Punk is meant to be about unity, punx unite and all that not fighting and competing like trendy twats.

  • i agree.. wasn't calling new fans posers --no way! i would just encourage them to start from the beginning when checking out bands from before their time. that's the way to get into older bands without being a poser -poster is only familiar with NEW anti-flag and thinks they just NOW sold out. if not a poser, he would've noticed they sold out a long time ago. if hes gonna complain to the world- get it right!

  • going to a major label isnt selling out. the term selling out means to change your style to make money and to play music other people want you to play just to make money. Anti-flag signed a major label to get there message out to more people. Besides the ramones were on a major label and they invented american punk and the damned and the sex pistols were also on major labels and they were the 1st british punks.

  • going to a major label isnt selling out. the term selling out means

  • i love this poser. oops, i mean POSTER(not). AF didnt sell out by joining a major record label, they did it with their music/actions post-DFYG

sorry to let you all down who think youre the real deal.. youre not. youre posers. back in the day, when i actually still respected a band like anti-flag, they did not have LAPTOP computers at the merchandise table.. & all i see in this vid is a bunch of scene kids.

imagine how cool AF would be if they had kept andy and justin quit instead

  • GROW UP

  • seeing as in how you used the word poser i'd say your about 14

  • ok so i used the word poser, didn't know it was still forbidden. i'm not the one that tried to say AF sold out. yall don't even know the real AF with the way you talk about them. just saying they didnt sell out any time recent. they changed at a certain point in time which i specified in my original comment. there are plenty of reasons to give why they sold out back then. the only reason suggested now is that they got on a major label-- which doesnt indicate anything about the music.

  • A sell out is a person who is in what they do for the money. Anti-Flag aren't about the money. They're about the message. And if you're saying their message is shit, you're messed up.

  • i love this poser. oops, i mean POSTER(not). AF didnt sell out by joining a major record label, they did it with their music/actions post-DFYG

  • when anti-flag makes a video we make the FUCKIN video

i think that might of been my favorite part for some reason haha

  • who the fuck r u to decide whats good and bad for anti-flag and i guarantee you werent born with every fucking bad religion song memorized so does that make you a poser?

  • badreligion message cont. your named after a great F@CKIN band that signed a record lable ages ago who deal with polotics and other sh@t, so f@ck you man quit talking shit and f@ckin start living

    TwIsTeD pUnK rOcKeR

  • Here is to bad religion just because you sign a recording lable doesn't mean you sold out it's changing your music to make money that makes you a sell out so befor you call anyone a poser take a good F@ckin look at your self turn emo and shoot your self cause you just sold your self out

    TwIsTeD pUnK rOcKeR

  • cool i will, cuz i hate emo too, like AFI when they went emo.

and yes going to a major label is selling out, changing your sound is not selling it out, like bad religion releasing the empire strikes first.

  • The Germs were on a major label.

The Ramones were on a major label.

The Clash were on a major label.

The Sex Pistols were also on a major label.

And punks seem to worship those bands. Get my point? It's stupid to stop liking a band that signs to a major label. And yes, there are kids that have only heard 'For Blood And Empire' and 'The Press Corpse', but they'll probably discover their old stuff too and learn to like it. And calling the new fans posers is just plain immature.

  • i agree with you

the adicts are on a major label too

  • It's their decision, and they aren't even that mainstream still. And they're NOT sell-outs. They're just trying to get their message out. And I think new fans have the right to see this, too, so they can maybe get into their older stuff aswell. And I've been a fan since 'Underground Network', and 'For Blood And Empire' is actually my favorite album by them so far. It's a lot more crafty, and the lyrics flow a lot better than in previous releases. Don't judge a band by it's popularity.

  • i can think of many other bands that are popular and not on a major label, anti-flag is now part of the RIAA, fuck that.

  • anybody else pissed that they went mainstream and now have a legion of posers who don't even know they are into politics, i hate that, it's so annoying people who come in and go "I LOVE ANTI FLAG YEZ" and they only like one song off the sellout album.

i love anti-flag but going mainstream was bad, should've stayed with fat wreck.

  • bad religeon i totally agree with u dude, they were much better wen they wer with fat wreck. and yeah AFI are another good example, they used to be kool but now they turned fucking emo and queer. but still i luv anti flag, they rock:P

  • I love this dvd.. I bought it at Warped and Justin and Pat and the Chris's all signed it. AF is too awesome.

  • man, that's sick. i'm from buffalo. what year is this tour from? i may have been there.

  • 2003 for "The Terror State"
