Doom has more of a story than the last few call of duty games combined!
@ChainsawGutsFuck I play Crysis sometimes but i don't rage at it, seriously, people rage over games? Games are about fun and seeing if you can give yourself a challenge; For example, play through a whole level nightmare difficulty without any deaths, or maybe just going on nightmare to see how many times you die, a test....and they need these kind of formats and graphics same as doom has, you know i prefer doom than call of duty, your right.

It also makes it look like Americans are unmatched in hand to hand combat and can dodge bullets whereas brainless terrorists and anyone else pretty much charge out of doorways and get cut down in swathes.
That's perfectly fine when it's against Cthulhu-esque horrors of the abyss or voracious Hellspawn, but it's desensitized the youth of today to think shooting real people is easy and a bit of fun.
@JAMES2K2COLD Me too :'( Something just got lost somewhere along the ways. Tekken - great atmosphere to it. Tekken 2 didn't seem to have the same atmosphere. Soul Edge...WOW...Calibur - just not as good. WipEout - unbelievable..2097 great, but soundtrack nowhere near as good + the narrower tracks sucked. Just didn't feel as dreamy. I'd say 50% of any movie/game experience for me is the soundtrack & what it emotes.
