Hey! For you folks into classical music, it is very obvious that this melody came from "Daybreak" from Maurice Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe. The beginning of this song is lifted directly from this Ravel piece and so follows the rest of this song. Having shown this, this is a great arrangement of Ravel's music. Robert Goulet's voice is good to hear again. I was living in New York at the time this musical played on Broadway. And I didn't see it. Wish I could return to those great years of Broadway!

I just listened to Barbra's again, and I guess it just depends if one prefers a big booming male voice or a big booming female voice with this song. Kinda like at Christmas time when I never can decide if I think a great tenor or soprano is better with O Holy Night. Does that make sense?

@billyboylb I have read writngs by Greeks who were against it.I don't follow every rule in the Bible because I can't.No one can.I also once gave the opinion God gave us the Ten Commandments so we could have rules to break.Many Catholic countries did ban divorce.I believe in equal rights,liberals want special privileges,e.g.,so called "affirmative action."The forced conversion was wrong,such actions by the Catholic Church led to the Protestant Reformation.
