this is before you have your encounter with the invincible necromorph isn't it? I never seem to be able to get rid of him in the fan blades, always run out of ammo and i don't want him chasing me when i'm trying to do this glitch lol! it would make it more fun tho!

You don't have to reload the save by exiting to the main menu. You can just reload your last checkpoint after you save and the glitch still works. It's a lot faster too! Thanks a bunch for the video!

I did a glitch also but I don't know how but I have 110892 power nodes.

Save the game when you get here, and go back to the dashboard (if your playing on the xbox) go to your memory, clear cache of any updates, when it prompts you to download the update again say no, and play offline. Go back to the room, get the 2 nodes and one ruby semiconductor, then and go back and save. Reload checkpoint, and keep going back to the room. If you get to room and its only cash or one node reload checkpoint.. Just boosted about 80 nodes and loads of semiconductors. :D

@miStiKredum That concept has been the normal for All games though. You never get the achievement if you just beat the endboss in a different difficulty. but you can go to Zealot in NG+

yo bro i found this glitch on my own too, dont ask how just somewhat figured it out.. BUT just to save u a few seconds of time when i did this i didnt need to go to the room that had zero grav. i just saved and walked to the room w the nodes in it. and when it did it would usualy switch every so often w either being 2 nodes and a semiconducter or 3k credits.... either way i upgraded and bought every suit and gun in an hr haha

The glitch is patched, with the newest update. Every time you go out to where the tentacle is then back in and try to go through the white door the game freezes. Tried it 8 times to confirm.

Here is the most efficient way to get just credits in dead space 2. But first, you need to spend some real money. Buy the martial law or supernova DLC. Then, go to the store, and purchase the Detonator weapon for free. Fire all the mines at a wall, then deactivate them and collect them. Do not reload the Detonator. Sell the mines and Detonator for credits at the store. Buy the Detonator back for free, and it will be fully stocked. Repeat this process as many times as desired.

Hey great glitch just want to add 2 points, Number 1 i noticed that the room gradually gives you lower and lower amount of things but if you spend the nodes and sell the conductors the room replenishes. (the less you have the more it gives) Also you do not need to exit to the main menu constantly, Just save the game, press start and restart checkpoint. Thumbs up to help everyone save time and Gain money =)

@michaelcayton No if you are doing this and you sell or use an item you have been getting out of the room you will loose the ability to use this glitch. Again this glitch works on all levels but as soon as you use or sell an item you got you loose it. Best thing to do it just drop them all on the ground before you save and they will still be there when you load again. I currently have a room full of Ruby conductors everywhere on chapter 8. Had gold ones in chapter 7.

@anthony77373 Where's the first one of these "glitch exploits"? There was a node room right next to a savepoint in the very beginning, I think chapter 2 or 3 but there was only some ammo, credits and a textlog and I saved then went back but nothing there. Though sure, it wasn't much in the room to begin with, just checked if it worked and didn't in that part. I'm trying to gather nodes, so a room with one that's glitchable like this would be great. Playing it through the second time, obviously:)

OK I just tested this method on chapter 7 and it works! You can do this glitch with and security door that requires a power node. Steps. 1. Use 1 power node to unlock the door. DO NOT OPEN IT YET! 2. Go save your game. 3. Go to the door and open it and collect all items. 4. Go save your game again. 5. Press start and quit your game. 6. From main menu press single player and load your previous game. 7. Go to the room again and collect all items again. 8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 simple!

I saved at 7 (2nd disc) and chapter 11. Right now I'm stuck at the end of chapter 13 goin' for needle in the eye save. Don't forget to take brakes if you get angry like i do, it helps.

Don't really need unlimited nodes for hardcore either, just save money for health and mainly ammo.
