i jailbroke my itouch and have cydia and rock but im contantly tring to get themes i have winterboard and when i download a theme with cydia it goes to winterboard but when i pick it and it loads and all it still dosent work and installer is what everyone says to get but i think it is deleted or something now how else can i get a theme please help

yeah you do i jailbroke my ipod touch on 3.1.2 and it gives you a choice on rock cydia and icy. you can make the account on your ipod

You don't need the account unless you want to save your downloads on a cache which is recommended. To make an account all you do is enter your email address and create a password then boom your done! Thats it.

regardless.. all you have to do is hold shift and hit restore in itunes with it plugged in.. download the firmware it has or higher and use that to restore.... bam official firmware

Dude it freaking rocks, I tried the other ones cydia (RIP, remember what you did to installer? you wiped it out of the face of the earth) remember what your parents always used to say to you, don't do onto others what you don't want done to you, and icy and i have to say... rock is way faster, cleaner, more elegant (one might say is eye candy), but that's just my opinion.

you cant, but you can just get rock by searching intelliscreen in cydia then downloading it. i had rock on 3.0. it comes with intelliscreen. or just search rockapp

there are so very few differences between the 2 that it dosnt make it worth dumping Cydia for the few "seconds" that it might/might not take to load/download. all depends on your iphone 1st of all 2gvs 3g vs 3gs. 3gs is obviously faster look up specs. 2nd you have a limited selection in my opinion on Rock so i will stick with Cydia because theres nothing i can find on Rock that i cant get through Cydia. that dosnt mean that Rock wont get better than Cydia 1day but for now, im staying w/ Cydia

1st of all congratz on a great video! very detailed. but 1 thing ive personally noticed about rock is 1st its not widely knows as Cydia. granted i dont like icy either. 2nd ive noticed on cydia there seems to be alooot more support/apps. yes cydia takes a little more knowledge you cant be a complete idiot and jailbreak / use cydia. but Rock seems pretty identical to Cydia AND seems to me that someone is just trying to steal Cydia's thunder.
