So uhh, what Submarine were you in? If it's the Seafarer(the sub I was on), then yay! If it was the Nautilus then yay again! If it was any of the other Subs then yay, cause you were in a Submarine!
everything is basicly the same there isn't anything new... I love the ride- the musical is amazing- but I just hope for something more than a repeat or the same thing in different styles °o°
I haven't ridden it at night yet, but I would assume that even with underwater lighting, that its probably best to ride during the day since you can see more.
I would also like to add that unlike the Epcot ride, the Nemo subs have MANY animatronics and physical figures.
I would comment but the sad thing is, all we can see is a black screen & only sound. Sorry have to rate this poor. Im heading to disney this weekend , I will try to get a better quality footage
this is just like the Finding Nemo Attraction found in EPCOT--- i would hope the imagineers could think of something more than recreating the same ride in DL with a submarine
WRONG. The nemo subs were in development FIRST. The idea for Epcot's ride came AFTER. This is not the exact same thing. There are similarities, but the Subs ride is more expensive and has a lot more special effects, a longer and different story and more show scenes not found in Epcot, like an underwater volcano and an encounter with a whale. It is NOT the same ride. Want proof?Watch the Epcot ride and see for yourself. They are NOT the same ride. There's a lot that you can't see in this video.
The EPCOT version is about 5 minutes long. The Disneyland version is around 14. The show scenes are more elaborate but it still feels like you're just watching a movie while moving, a very cool movie mind you, but a movie nontheless.
My favorite part of the subs is just being submerged in the old submarine lagoon again. I especially like the music during the beginning scenes.
all i said is that the story... is the same, everything with nemo is the same type of story again and again... the musical is 45 mins long but still the same thing... but in a different verson... Disney needs to stop milking movies like nemo that came out years ago and put more work into other popular movies (like the incredibles)-- and keep up-to-date on attraction timing/ movie release dates
DUH there is a lot I cant see- but what I saw is the same that I see when I ride the EPCOT version... Oh and dont start talking who was first... because all that matters is that their almost the same ride and All i said is I hoped for something more than a repeat of the same type of story than the movie, EPCOT Ride, Musical, Sub Voage, ECT....
Is there an underwater volcano at EPCOT? No. (Unfortunately it was not working the day this was filmed) Is there a whale encounter at EPCOT? No. Is there a mine explosion at EPCOT? No
Are there many animatronics at EPCOT? No, just one Anglerfish figure. The list can go on...
All that matters is that the Nemo Sub Voyage is superior. Yes, the same concept and some technology was borrowed for "The Seas" makeover. I understand what you are saying, But DL DID get the better ride.
Yeah you are very wrong. The nemo ride in california was planned almost 2 years before the one in epcot was constructed. The one in epcot is a "Test" of the effects that would come to california.

Yes, I said it was dark in the description. Especially in the lagoon section because it was filmed at night.

you must have pretty poor eyesight then (or a bad computer) cause I can see the projections pretty well...
