Its impossible to tell from just a video as to why the machine hasnt been greased and until I could find out the whole story I would have to give him a pass on that. As for his operating... He has the basics down but needs to slow down and quit trying to impress people. Fast doesnt equal good. I been in that kinda business a long time and have seen so many people with all the tools to be a good operator but they try to impress with speed.

I see I wasnt the only one who noticed that it sounded like it needs some grease. I also noticed that it says it was his first day on the job. That much noise doesnt come from just one day without grease. It hasnt been greased for a while. Which brings about some questions. Do they grease at the start or end of the shift ? Some outfits have someone that does all the fueling and greasing for the operator. Maybe the grease fittings are worn out or broken and wont take grease.

I know Equipment is expensive to people like us , BUT to some companies and GOV'Ts Equipment is EXPENDIBLE, they make 10 times the money off a job or taxpayers that we would make.

Yes, guaranteed he's not the owner. The phrase 'busy fool' springs to mind. He's just showing off - and getting no more work done than a careful skilful driver would. In fact the amount of downtime a bloke like this generates due to breakage and wear probably far outweighs any savings he makes on the job.
