  • haha, that's what she said XD

  • Huell's veins pump pure adrenaline.

  • Good thing Huel wasn't with a group of Japanese tourists...to his horror...they might pull out their harpoons and show Huel how they do it in Japan.

Huel...the big goof! He would have reached down to touch that whale if the guide hadn't told him not to...oh the adrinaline rush!

Whale watching tours like this are not good for the whales...they think it's okay to approach man, when nothing could be further from the truth.

  • I wish Heull Howser was my BEST Friend!

  • How dare that guy tell Huell not to touch the whale! Huell can do whatever the hell he wants! He's f-ing HUELL HOWSER!

  • This is one of my favorite episodes.

  • this entire episode is made for the blind....

  • i just watched this on tv and was amazed at how comfortable the whales were just hangin out and interacting with people

  • Close your eyes and tell me it doesn't sound like Huell is delivering a baby.

  • Huell Howser is the Best Medicine for whatever ails so called, "modern society!"

  • @sweetea4u2 Well said.

  • watch this video with your eyes closed and volume up. so funny.

  • I love Huell Howser's love for whales and animals in general. He is a very generous and kindhearted man. I admire that.

  • Wow! It doesn't take much to get this Howser guy excited.

  • Close encounters with whales also occur regularly in Laguna Ojo de Liebre (a.k.a. Scammon's Lagoon). Laguna San Ignacio is NOT "the only place on Earth where this happens" as Huell claims.

  • after watching Heull so many times, me thinks, not kidding, somehow related to Forrest Gump. I mean he is a nice guy and all, but man, that voice and demeanor.....

  • You are right eastsackevster, he really is a one of a kind guy, but I love his down home personality.

  • huells mom is a whale?

    "look theres mom"

  • There've been blues on the oceanside of the Channel Islands recently, and they appeared there a couple years ago too. Majestic animals. God's submarines.

  • What majestic animals! Culture or no culture the Japanese and the Scandinavians shouldn't be whaling. Apparently the young people, as goofy and mixed up as they are in other ways, most of them won't eat whale, which is good. I dearly hope the market dries up.
