i am not jamacian..i am mixed(mut)..but my sister her friend's mother was jamacian and she baked hers as well..this video kinda confused me maybe they make a different style for ppl who r non native ppl..u never know..

I thought so because were I'm from (Beantown) New England USA there used to be this spot that hand made and baked the best Beef patties ever! (Out side Jamaica)And they baked them right there at the Bakery.
and her patties are still delicious, just got back from negril last week,;-)
