This is a wonderful example of the cause and effect logical fallacy. These kinds of cartoons aren't shown anymore because overzealous parents feel they have to sterilize everything their children will come in contact with. This cartoon is only an extension of the humor pioneered by Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, and the rest of the guys working in animations golden age. My generation thinks that those things are you mentioned fun cause we were fed that stuff growing up, most likely by your generation.

In regards to your poorly written rap statement, it's because most people haven't been exposed to well written hiphop. The range of whats played on the radio is very slim, and whats played by major stations dictates what is popular. If you think it's the wrong way, then ask yourself why Rap legends like KRS One and Twalib Kweli don't get airplay, even tho they are still two of the most popular and relevant underground artists in the game today.
