  • can you use this for street? like goin down stairs n tht?

  • @iMackiiD

Yes you can but its not recommended, its designet for flatland and can not take to mutch jumping impact, since its frame is about 1.6 kg

  • @megasohn

Can you tell me why would flat be gay? i read alot about, flaters have no balls, thats why not raiding street, but, you know what? -Alot of flatlanders started actually riding bmx becouse of flatland, so did i, i like street, i like to watch street and everything, i do some small stuff once in a while, but i focus on flatland. If its gay becouse its hard, then that is your problem, it takes alot of years of hard & hard practicing to be good, it aint something you do in a few days..

  • @fbmitja i dont meen gay in that reason my englisch is not good..

i meen it doesnt look interesting when you turn around twenty times on yor frontwheel.. then i think its more exciting doing barspins inverts, 360 etc. stairs down

i didnt say tat flatland is not hard and i didnt say its no fun

  • @megasohn

Theres alot of variations of tricks, look at a few different vids, you might even like it ;)

  • @Sixtenofive I've been trying to get some specs on this bike...How long is the top tube? Also, what is the height of the handlebars from the ground? I'm short too, 5'2" (not getting any taller). I've been thinkin of getting an 18" bike, but I just don't see any 18" flat bikes unless I go custom. Have you had any trouble getting your legs over the bars to scuff the front wheel? Thanks

  • @zipperdragon

    -TT 18.2"

nah it aint a problem getting over the bars, :) and its so short bike really.. you should be fine. but maybe you wanna check some other bikes to, i aint voting for this one, but i can say form about 2 month experientse that its a great bike

  • @Sixtenofive hmm I'm 6ft haha and £700 would be a big price to pay for a first timer :/ hmm I'll give it more thought when I have enough and when I go down to the place :) thanks anyway, if I get it n learn some stuff then I'll post a vid response if I can be arsed..

  • @Sixtenofive yeah I'd jus be doing nice little show off tricks sometimes haha like that at the end all that sort of stuff :) but I'd still like to learn all the more complicated tricks, might go on a bmx park once or twice... Btw how big are the wheels? Is it just the small frame making them look bigger or what? And lastlyyyy, all the bmxes I've looked at have longer, more stretched out frames that look a weight to live with, so I want this mostly for the frame :) easier to maneuver :)

  • @DaveKraft400

different frames have different geometry, this one is is pretty short for short people :D it fits me perfectly. *shy* :D and tires are less wider than normally.. thats about it.. just buy a cheap nice looking bmx and have fun :P and after time if you decide to go in any discipline more seriously buy bmx that is designet for it. most tricks can be done with normal bmx, its just a bit harder becouse of weight etc.

  • would you recommend it? thinking of getting into bmxing and i like the look of this soooo?

  • @DaveKraft400

if your geting into flatland bmxing then hell yes! note that these bikes can't stand to mutch of jumping(street stuff), becouse they are designed for flatland ofcourse.. but still the frame is pretty strong, more then i expected

  • @Sixtenofive hmm well id use it everytime i go out most likely for just messing about haha, but probably street stuff... not like on bmx parks or anything but you know just having some fun :) bit of both and it's light, smaller than usual frame would suit me i think

  • @DaveKraft400

well this one is for more serious flatland =) there also exist 'hybrid' frames for a bit of everything.. but i have no idea of any brand that makes it :/ check around khe site they have everything lol

  • @DaveKraft400 Check out flatlandfuel(dot)com for hybrid frames that have the flatland geometry but can take the abuse of street riding. Strowlers are often highly recommended and so is the Travis Collier frame. They are heavier than flat specific frames but lighter doesn't mean better, it just means lighter. Matt Wilhelm rides a Strowler. Nuff said.
