I just found this game recently for my NEO-GEO emulator, and it's so awesome. I can't believe I never heard of this before. I don't understand why that system never got popular in America. It blows the Genesis, and the SNES out of the water. Not to mention SNK was an amazing game maker back then.

it's interesting to note that the mechanics in this game is VERY reminiscent of street fighter games like 3S and CVS2. The way the combos link, how hits trade, the footies game. The only thing they got wrong is the down scaling of chip damage (which starts out doing ALOT of damage then becoming almost non exsistant)

all in all. This game is amazing. And WELL before it's years. too bad it didn't get publicized or it probally would have been a competitive fighting game.

My friend & I have played "Breakers' Revenge" in the past, and it's a heck of a lot of fun!

It obviously has some similars to other Capcom & SNK fighters, but we still enjoyed playing it, crazy combos & all (not that we were that good, LOL)

It's Super Meter System, reminds me a bit of the "Street Fighter Alpha" series.

Awesome Combo Video, by the way. I seen it a few thimes already, but I always come back to view it some more!

If you think of it more as a parody/tribute/homage rather than a rip off you'll be able to enjoy how cool this game is.

And having an aura doesn't make Bai Hu a Demitri rip-off, but I did notice a Devil Head Press in there lol.

I just started playing this game on my MAME32 and I think its tight; read on some discussion boards that its a tournament worthy game even though its old. Thy should definitely remake it or at least put some of the characters in the next KOF game

That girl is pretty much a cross between Ryu and Chun Li in which she has a dozen moves that copy them. The Psyco Crusher was unexpected, but I'd imagine it's a rib on capcom like Dan was to SNK. Also, that beast chick (forgot her name) gets the same crossing treatment of Blanka and Cham Cham. Heck some of the animations are mirrored!
