  • oh ok.

  • well i hope its not 10 gauge. thats pretty small for that amp...

  • Like I said, I can't remember. I bought the Scosche Wiring kit for a 1200 Watt amp....I'm not sure of the gauge. And Scosche no longer makes the kit, so I can't tell you.

  • what gauge wire do you have?? cause i have that same amp and it cuts out at high volume cuz of my power and ground wire.

  • I'm not exactly sure, but I'm going to say it is 10 guage....I can check on it and let you know.

  • The subs are 2 ohm subs. I can't remember if the subs are wired in parallel or series. But it hasn't blown yet, and I've gotten many compliments on how it sounds in person. But I will get back to you on that.

  • yea dude dont wire anything 1ohm to that amp...you might have the CVR102 model or the CVR104 model...you can only wire the CVR104 model down to a 2ohm load but thats it.....if you want to go to 1ohm load you need a different amp, that one isnt stable at 1ohm (not safe)

  • lol the gain and bass is all the way up you said? thats sad man.

you know you set your gain at 3/4 volume right, and not like 1/8th

  • im not sure. i never said that i had them up all the way. u would have to look at my amp and tell me. u can hear it outside the truck w/ windows up, and standing a good ways from the truck.

  • well i mean, over time you can be hurting your subs by having the gain/bassboost up too high. go buy a Digital Multi Meter ($10-20), set it to AC voltage, play a 50hz sine wave at 3/4th volume, and turn the gain up to like 25-30v, since i dont know how many ohms you have your subs hooked to the amp

  • well i can tell u that i have a mono channel amp(750.1) and im pretty sure that my subs(2 ohms) are hooked in parallel, which makes it a 1 ohm load*i think*

if thats not right, feel free to correct me. the guy that hooked me up didnt speak the cleanest english. lol

  • they are either dual 2 or dual 4 ohm, you gotta see which one it is. its either wired at 2 ohms (safe for your amp) 1 ohm (not safe) or 4 ohms

  • the subs are 2 ohm dual voice coil CVRs. the amp is a 750.1 monoblock. I think they they are wired in at 2 ohms....im 99% sure.

  • i hope its not wired in full parallel, i doubt it or your amp wouldnt even turn on lol. but its wired to 2 ohms yea, the kicker amps are only 2 ohm stable so your good.

  • like i said, the guy didnt really speak good clear english, and i didnt even ask him how they were wired up. i just talked it over with my dad, who works w/ electricity and stuff for a living.

  • yea because thats how i had mine and i have the same setup and it fried my amp when i turned it on. 230 bucks gone down the drain. so becareful with them in full parallel to the amp.

  • thats amaaazzing lol..i thought they were too deep to put in those boxes

  • thanks!

i got two 1" riser whe i bought my box. $5 each. they gave me about 3/4"-1" between the box and the magnet. it works.
