I talked to my wife today about your video. We were sitting on one of those red London double-decker busses. She explained that the word 'chameleon' in the English language stands also for 'changing the colour'. I did not know that. This fits, of course, quite well to your father's guitar style, if it is that what it means.

Are you talking about the natural harmonics he plays every so often? all you do is lightly touch (but not press) the string above a fret corresponding to the note you want, and play the string. The strongest harmonics are at the 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th frets but with practice you can get them in more places.
