Id say that thing is easilly running 750 - 800 bhp.

A standard 2 rotor engine in a fd (3rd gen Rx7) can produce 450 - 500 hp with a bigger turbo, a streetport and other supporting mods.

That thing has definately had a bridge port and is tri rotor. depending on boost pressure i wouldnt be supprised if that could be in the HP range of the Veyron!! these tuners love modding the ultimate jap motors (Rx7, Evo, Skyline & Supra) i have seen some projects with as much as 1250bhp :D

I've just never been a fan of Japanese engineering or design, its almost like they can't think for themselves. For example the rotary engine was originally a german idea. Plus i've always felt that most of their vehicles (at least the ones that don't look completely retarded) have styling cues that copy european designs. Just my opinion thats all.

lol if you would have read my original comment that I posted about a month ago you would have seen that I give Mazda their props for using the Rotary engine, they are fucking sweet, in fact mazda was the only Japanese manufacturer to win the 24 hours of Le Mans with the 787B Le Mans Prototype that had a 4 rotor engine, but no hard feelings bro, and don't worry, the RX7 is one of the few jap cars that I actually like lol

Try sitting next to me in a NSX Type R around a race track, or not even, just try riding with a racer (not ricer though) in a FF Civic or Integra Type R doing really hardcore lapping. I also happen to like American muscles (modern and the 60's stuff)and European sports, but they are also different breeds to each other, drives and feels differently. Anyways, cars from different cultures just behave differently even though the main purpose is to send one from point A to point B. American muscles rely on big displacement for low-mid end torque, on track they growl. Some Japanese sports red-lines at 9000. On race tracks they sing. By the way, Korean cars are made of paper.

You cant cut an engine in half, stick it back togther and expect it to be a performance engine.

No all it needs is a custom eccentric shaft and they can kinda make it as many rotor as they want. Just like anything as it gets longer, bigger, the stresses increase so 4 is about as far as its gone.
