This was my grandmother's favorite song. I found this the night she died. I found myself weeping. I initially didn't like it, although I think it's because I was hurting so much. Thank you for posting and I like the sound design, the kids choir outside then being in the chapel, very nice. That may be from the actual mix of the song but great nonetheless. Thanks again.

Yep. The guy who wrote this song was the brother of one of my great grandfathers (though how many generations, I am not exactly sure). The family was going on vacation to England, but because of the financial problems that Mytheon151 mentioned, he had to stay behind to take care of some business. He was going to catch up soon after, but got the news that the ship his family was on had collided with another boat...

Try putting yourself in the place of this man that wrote the song. He had lost a son earlier, and then 4 daughters in a shipwreck.. His wife survived. He wrote this song after that tragedy. Does anyone here have that kind of faith? I'm not sure that I have. I try, but faced with loss like that, it's so HARD.
