  • Love this do you know if the same sc wud work on the 08 altima coupe 3.5 (vq35de)

  • GOT JET?

  • Sweet ride.. I have a Vortech too.. I love it.. Great drivability on the streets for a daily driver and crazy HP up in your power band.. And if you want more power V7 is good for 1200HP

  • mpg?

  • @DRUMMERNIGGA mpg doesn't actually change.... If you drive normal. Of course, you won't drive normal. Just like any other car that you floor at every stop sign

  • dam i love that sound.

  • people make me sick

  • @jerad0683

    Ol' emo ass nigggggaaaaa hahahahah

  • @ch0c0latte13 fuck off ya little douche, your not dealing with a kid fyi, happen to be 27 and know more about mechanics than you, I know the difference between rwhp and crank hp, I never stated any wrong info so you can suck it ya douche bag leaving fuck tard comments that make no sense

  • @jerad0683 the funny thing is that you sound like your about 17 saying "douche" all the time and "fuck tard"... my cousin is 24 and he doesnt say those words...

  • What's that sound after he gets off the throttle? Sounds somewhat similar to a BOV on a turbo setup.

  • I have a g and wand to go f/i.I want to know what made you go with a suercharger?

  • @nitrorc75

I knew I wasn't going to go for MONSTER power like you can get from TT. The supercharger is better $/hp but you can really only gain so much. If you got the money go with the TT and upgrade the internals.

Of course, now that I have a baby son and didn't recoup the money spent on wheels and SC, I'd say be smart and save... But of course you won't listen, which I can fully understand ;)

  • @unomateo What he is trying to say is you need two turbo's feeding into your supercharger.

  • @dankusking Yeah, it's ridiculous... everyone knows that a twin supercharger setup with 2 twin turbos on each supercharger is the way to go!

  • the 6 speed G35 comes with the 304 hp with the sports tuned suspension if you like all your info up on wikipedia it will tell you everything about anything!!!

  • @jerad0683 ur a dumb little kid shut the fuck up.. there is a difference between whp and hp..

  • @ch0c0latte13 your a fucking douche bag, ya fucking douche, I know the differnce between rwhp and crank hp fuck tard. I never stated any wrong info and I'm no little kid, happen to be 27! I'm sure I know far more about cars, truck, boats and mechanics than you're sorry douche comment leaving ass!

  • Wats that knocking noise right wen he turns the car off?

My G also makes that same exact noise n i no its not the supercharger cuz i dnt have one installed..

  • @highwaysmasher that is the belt for the supercharger you can see it at 0:20 of the clip.

  • @highwaysmasher it might be the supercharger pully slowing down i think i used to own a lightning that did the same thing

  • @highwaysmasher I have an 07 that does the same thing. I've taken it back to the shop twice and they just play dumb..."uh...I dont hear anything." A-holes.

  • I do have a G35 with 30K's on it..I was wondering how much difference does it makes after you add the vortech supercharger? I think it already have ~300Hp in it.

  • I think stock a G35 has about 240 RWH... My G was dyno'ed at 335 RWH.

FI makes a huge difference... You have to be careful in first gear because you redline really fast.

  • u-Oh! I use my G35 for day to day life on top of that I take it to construction sites as well :) and just to add topping I am from Calgary, Alberta. Canada..where the weather specially "black ice" is like crazy due to Chinook winds. I guess I still need couple of years to get used to gear shift @ high rev in snow and then add supercharger!

  • nice g! i was wondering did you have to replace any internals or anything in the transmission to handle the extra power or is it good

  • No, you don't have to do any internal work.

  • hold the camera steady! nice G though man!

  • My wife was holding the camera... It was either she holds the camera or revs the engine. You can see by her camera work that she NEVER drove that car

  • I love that sound... Procharger has a similar sound to it. A mean sounding whistle that can only be heard from idle up to about 5 mph. At least, that's how it is on the corvette anyway. Thanks for the vid.

  • This one had a chatter at idle which is common for vortech SC. Many people raised the idle a little to remove the chatter.

I really loved the sound when you hit it hard and then when shifting it releases the backflow, then revs up again... sounds like a jet.

    Your corvette must haul ass!

  • yeah the chatter is also partly due to the daul mass flywheel its loud as hell and rattles even if its brand new

  • How many intakes have pullies on them?

  • Lol, so true.

  • @unomateo only the super top secret ones that push 6000 horses to the pavement

  • Comment removed

  • lol yea thats not a SC! lol what kinda intake is that then

  • ur a idiot.....

  • wow you are DUMB!

  • you prolly got those "tornado" superchargers that you put inside the intake tube huh?

  • lol i'm assuming you have a dc2 by your username, yet you have no videos of it..and you're bashing on the dude that has a supercharged g35 that would rape the ford focus you actually own lol..don't talk shit for no reason, it's not cool

  • i didnt know g35s have v6's i didnt think my friends one did

  • Yo man that shit sounds sexy

  • awesome

  • A guy at work drove his wife's G35 today. I don't know - up until today I thought my stock BMW M3 was the fastest thing at work. Guess I'll have to settle for second place.

  • m3 is faster

  • Good to know. Kinda thought my M3 was a little quicker.

  • My Homie Terrance has one.....speechless

  • my G with the vortex had 330RWH, I think the C63 has 371RWH... not sure. my last comment was sarcastic because they are 2 totally different cars. BUT, the G felt like a rocket because of the stickshift... it's just more fun to drive fast with a stick compared to paddle shifters. A G with TT can easily match the HP on the c63. One cool thing about the c63... for only about $3k you can get an ecu upgrade to about 520 HP... it cost me over $7K to get about the same HP increase in the G

  • "bp240" No I am not giving too much props for the C63 AMG. It was the the fastest production sedan of 2008-2009. So what if its a little while? Its 1 more than the G35. You can't compare the G to the C63. The way the video creator made it sound like they were almost equal was dumb. No offense. Quote. "Little faster then the G" its not a little faster is a lot faster. The C63 has a lot more weight to pull, and it pulls at least 1 sec faster on the 1/4 mile that's a lot. No the CTS-V is not faster

  • A stock C63 AMG is not a little bit faster than a stock G35 coupe or sedan. C63 AMG is the fastest sedan production car out. C63 AMG does 1/4 miles in the mid 12s, while G35 does high 13s, maybe low 14s. That is not a bit slower... C63 AMG is not even comparable with the G35. If you were to compare, the C63 AMG to the G35 it will make the G35 look like trash. No Infiniti brand car can ever be better than a Mercedes-Benz for that matter. Especially an AMG one. Your giving the G too much props.

  • you are also giving the C63 AMG too much props...yes it is insanely fast for a sedan but it only held the "fastest production sedan" title for a little while...last thing i heard was that the CTS-V was faster and now Porsche is claiming the Panamera is going to be the fastest

  • yo i have a stock 2008 g35 x s and wanna know what mods could i do to it for a bit more speed but not spend too much

  • Get a cold air intake. I got one before the supercharger. It cost less then $200... Makes it sound really good adds about 15 hp. Mine was made by Injen

  • I now gots me a c63 amg... its a little faster then the g

  • did you raise the idle rpm?

  • no, rpm was normal

  • this thing sounds awesome, kinda sounds like the 350z off of tokyo drift. nice car i sure wish i could afford a 350z or a g35.

  • you can buy a g35 now for around $11k now

  • HAH, no, mabe a Z, most g's are still gonna run u at least 15k right now

  • nah now they are ~10-13k on ebay for the early model g35s ;)

  • dude trust me there are good deals out there. look for them.

  • -has the same engine as the 350z ;) g35=350z thats a lil longer lil heavier and has a backseat... so you really have a win win situation ;)

  • how much boost are you running?

  • sounds good

  • Also, I sold the G a few years ago and now drive a P.O.S. toyota pickup... saving up for a GT-R

  • $77,000

  • $77K, that seems low?

I did finally see a GTR on the streets here in Oakland... Came up on me doing about 100. Looks really good from the front.

  • My neighbor just bought one for 82k but it was after tax I drove it last week and I almost wet my pants.

  • Wow

My buddy at school got his for 68.5k

    Odd

  • Wow it must have been used

  • 83,000 thousand for a GTR in one dealer about 30 miles away where I live.( I live in South Texas)

  • yep.

  • I live in Houston and theres a GT-R for sale with 9 miles and its going for 81K even.

  • you an find a good deal if you shop around the country....if you savin 10k then i think its worth it traveling across the country to pick it up...

  • I can't remember, it was a stock vortech. I think it was either 6 or 8... you can get a smaller pulley to increase boost, but I only had the stock. I see alot comments about what is better TT or SC - I think you should also look at dollar per HP... IMO SC is a much more cost effective way to boost power. The TT would have moster power, but to install they had to remove engine and so some internal work = extra $5000... for only about 50 more HP. Of course with the TT you can get monster power

  • how much boost did it have?

  • This supercharger sounds too good to be true...I don't hear that whiny noise at all...do you have sounds of it with the hood closed and just driving around?

And could I get a cockpit audio as well?

  • Sorry, Sold the G about 2 years ago

  • Imagine a Turbo is a hot blonde, and a supercharger is your fat wife... Sure, the turbo will take you for a wild ride, but 5 years from now that supercharger is still gonna be there...

  • lmao

    good one

  • haha lov it!

  • You know nothing about the power characteristics of a sc vs tc

    Seriously stop, you know NOTHING.

  • The vortech supercharger under normal driving conditions is operation in vacuum and has the parasitic loss less than an alternator.

  • @poorboyrs lol! love your way of seeing it, never thought of it that way! its perfect lol!

  • Lol

  • @poorboyrs id rather go for the wild ride..

  • wow...some people here have no clue as to how turbo/superchargers work. Think before you write guys...if you are unsure of how something works then don't type.

  • Did you up the rev to make it run like this?

  • sounds fucking beautiful *tear tear* lol

  • lol

  • i dont know much about cars but, wich is better a turbo or a supercharger ...?

And if so, Can anyone tell me the difference?

  • turbo charger starts given the car boost at like 20-30mph and supercharger gives u boost at take off

its ur personal choice which one u like more

  • um are you fucking stupid? please do not say ignorant shit like that

  • lol you only supercharge american cars. enough said

  • becuz the car is not gonna last long anyways. rofl

  • look I'm no expert, but its the amount of exhaust out put that is blown through the turbo charger which can be adjusted relative to rpms where you get turbo lag, twin turbos can be used to eliminate this, and super chargers run off a belt, so its always

  • Superchargers are a more constant stream of power, though. It all depends on the application, but at the end of the day when you run a lot of boost on a turbo, it will come on very strong and on a street car you can lose your traction very quick. Superchargers have a nice curve to it. It's all chalked up to preference, really.

  • supercharger is run off of the belts on the engine, and so it runs the whole time the car is running, however the turbo runs only when the timer kicks in, (it can be changed), and gives you boost at the higher rpms when the gas is pressed in further. turbos normally produce more boost, however you have to be gunning it to get it, supercharges are less but still good, and they run the whole time.

  • you have got to be kidding me, yes superchargers are belt driven, and compared to a turbo, easier to install. the down side is that they require engine power to force air into the intake, so it takes power to make power. turbo's run off exhaust gasses, and since the exhaust is spent energy, the power is free. there is no timer, the lag comes from the engine needing to create exhaust gas to spin the turbine, which spins the impeller, which forces air into your wicked whip... (ran out of space...)

  • seems like you got shit for brains

  • I believe certrifugal are somewhat like turbos because it gains boost from mid to high rpms instead of a regular supercharged is instant response

  • whats that rattle at the end?

  • Sounds much more quieter that the V2 i have on my 330ci .. what did u do to lower the chatter .. did u raise the revs at idle ?

  • No, normal idle. It did chatter at idle. It was annoying

  • sounds fuckin sick.

  • where is the BOV that im hearing, unless im crazy

  • some centrifugal superchargers have release valves also. Check the vortech kit, don't be a tool.

  • omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg i just camee thats sick

  • my G coupe is jealous

  • Sounds great! Looks like a fun ride.

  • Is the Infinity G35 sold in England anybody?

  • no they've never heard of infiniti. but when i was over there i saw a black fx35

  • Infinity is nissan. Its there luxury brand over here.

  • If it was/is sold there, it's probably just called a Nissan Skyline (not a GT-R though). What we call the Infiniti G35 is really branded a Skyline in Japan (V35 chassis).

  • known as nissan skyline. yes u can buy it in UK

  • Get the Stillen Stage 2 SC. No whining noise. Don't like this one.

  • how much do does vortech superchargers run for??

  • I bought this one for $4600 over the internet. I can't remember the company name at the moment, but I do know that the company is no longer selling them. You can also check with buy groups on g35 forums to see if they have any group buys going on for a discount.

  • One more thing. I sold the car and the the vortech definitely lowered the value. Not really lowered the value, but I had a hard time selling it because potential buyers all think your engine is shot if you have one. So if you get one, you might want to take it out before you sell. You'll get more money.

  • bought mine for 54327.87 rbs, you can hear the calves opened on my eismann exhaust video on my g.

  • that looks like the ati kit....

  • vey nice, do you have dyno #s ?

  • dynoed at 335 rwh...

vortech SC, evo2 exhaust, greedy front bumper. Rest of the engine was stock

From reading g35 forums I was expecting to be closer to 350.

  • headers would have definately helped

  • how much did u spend on ur car overal? (just performance) with exhaust, intake SC and any other mod? and how much was the labor?

please reply. im thiking about getting one

  • dats gayyyy

  • It is a 2004 coupe 6mt

  • What year and model(coupe or sedan) is that G35

  • Yes, that is the BOV with the kit. zcargarage in San Jose said they would be able to make it quieter, but I liked the sound.

  • nice SC

Do you have an aftermarket BOV or is that the bypass valve that came w/the kit?

    Sounds pretty loud =)

  • sweet...im tinking of getting the same setup on my g35...any problems???. hit me back up.

  • turbo is better in my opinion

  • you have to pretty much take out your whole engine to get a turbo put in, then you have to run all sorts of other things to make it work like you want it, thats why people take the super charger over the turbo in most cases

  • I loved the power, but when I sold it, I had a hard time. Many people will not want a supercharged "Luxury Car". So I suggest you part it out before you sell.

The bearings had to be replaced after about 1.5 years, but it was covered under the warranty. Just had to pay for labor. Overall, I really liked it and recommend it.
