Get your desired bottle. For example a bottle of water, fizzy pop or alchopop and place the plastic on top of it. With a pen trace a circle around the top of the bottle onto the plastic. Then with scissors carefully cut the circle out. You should be left with a circle of plastic that fits nicely on top of the bottle. thats the secret

The gimmick is basically a small circle of clear plastic with a hole in the middle of it. You can get a piece of clear plastic from some grocery packaging. The plastic needs to be fairly rigid and totally transparent.

Next take the piece of plastic and make a small hole in the center of it with scissors. The hole needs to be just big enough so a match or cocktail stick can fit through easily. Ok, that's it your gimmick is made and ready to go! I told you it was easy to make. :-)

It's not physics is quite simple really. All bottle lids have a plastic circle on them if you put that on the end of the bottle then water will not release but a small squeeze will release all the water and momentum will carry. The toothpick can enter by a very small hole that water cannot pass threw but when a toothpick travels threw it the hole goes back to it's smaller size and water is kept in.

i know how its done!!!!!!!!! get a glass bottle with a opening pretty small, then turn it over with ur finger blocking it, after, the water should get stuck in the opening and wouldnt come out, if you put a small thing that floats in water like a match it goes up automaticly and the water wont fall out thats how the trick works!!!! *becareful when u hold the bottle upside down be cause the water might fall out accidentally!!!!! i hoped this helped!!!!!!
