@GlitchOwnage in the main menu of kd player, go to preferences then you will see an option there (the 3rd one i think) that lets you choose the folder that will be scanned whenever you update your libary. add the destination (path) of your mp3's then that's it. update your library then all the mp3's on the path folder you specified will show up.

You have to give permissions for the application! and in the KD Music you have to "menu" then "Preferences" and "folders for scanning" select the folder where is ur music save it! and if in that folder you have subfolders u should go to "preferences" again and then "General Settings" and select the option "search in subfolders" and ur done! i guess! that was my problem btw! hope u can resolve ur problem! =P

i added the folder where the music files are and it worked. Then when re-open the application, files are not recognized. when i try to play a song, it says "unable to open file" exception: cannot create a datasource for : *****. I checked the settings and the folder was still registered in its database.

The only solution I found was to update the library all the time I launch the program. Is there a solution?

You just transfere songs from the PC via USB to the phone. Or directly into the memorycard.

It should work just fine, I have my own MP3s as ringtone and SMS tone - try to get some support on it in a mobile store.

You put songs to the memorycard, but inside KD Player you have to point to where the songs are located - the path, so it can find them, its kind of hard to explain where, but try playing around with the KD players settings - hope u then find it.

I think its because your phone then is branded by a network? You have to get it unbranded and flashed with the official SE standard firmware at a mobile phone unlocker.

You dont make much sense, because the musicplayer in K850i is the same as in the Walkman - K850i uses Music Player v3.0 with MegaBass and that is the same that W890 use. So the quality is the same!!

Its too complicated to explain, but actually you just have to mess around in the KD Players menues, you have to add the folder with music so it knows where your music is and then update the music library. You have to try yourself look in the menu and try all the different things.

The music player is fine I think, its ok loud - but depends on the mp3s also. But it only have one speaker at the back, 2 had been better - but with headphones it pretty good. The camera is also good for a phone, pictures are easy to navigate and see. But try look for some reviews also on google. The light is standard.

Forgot one thing, its important to update the phone to the latest firmware, because the first firmwares had some bugs. But with the latest software its a good phone.

Its called "Laser Precision" for K850i and was a standard flash theme on the phone. (unbranded) when I got it.
