I undersand the dove, and the wings, but what does it mean: " wear this planet down to nothing" ? That time this action needs is eternety. Wear something down, to nithing??? It doesn't make sense. How can it be down, if the dove wears it?

The first - to wear clothing - 'I will wear a coat'

The second - to wear down an object 'I will use this sandpaper to wear away the roughness of this wood', 'the sea will wear away the coast', 'tyres on a car will wear down over many miles'

That is a SUPERB visual for this song.

There are a couple of great cloud still-shots - not the aerial ones - which could have easily been recognised as a satellite image of an imaginary continent -which to my mind, would be the place in this new century.
