This lawyer is using a fallacious argument. He saying that if you have a CCW permit, you have to abide by CCW laws regardless of if your carrying concealed or open carry. That makes no sense. @babyface10725 bullshit, read the law 750.234d. but the video part, you can open carry with a cpl in a hospital but...... if the hospital is privately owned they can make a rules stating you cannot have a weapon and you do have to follow that rule made by the hospital or any private property. Passing the bar doesn't give one license to practice being an arrogant jackass. There's no need or reason to get emotional when trying to argue your side of a debate or hearing. Curtis was behaving like a 12 year old at this hearing. It's good to know that he has been removed from the gun board. We can only hope he loses his position in the prosecutor's office as well, because he is obviously incapable of interpreting law, or behaving in a rational manner.

As Stainless posted earlier, Mr. Curtis has lost his position as the PA office's representitive on the gun board. I was also informed this incident will be reviewed at the next police chief meeting in Muskegon County so all LE agencies in the county will be educated by the PA's office.

Opening in Video is incorrect. You do NOT need a CPL to Open Carry in Michigan. Although a CPL does make things easier and does change which Pistol Free Zones apply to you (Non-CPL or CPL PFZ).
