Ike's air timing was horrible, but that B> recover straight onto the ground from the air at 1:10 was sweet. And the 1:20 slap down slash was great, I never get to do that. Also good use of the combat walk.

Ike players: DONT ABUSE AIR A FORWARD. Use the normal A more often, it lags less at the start of the move and is better for comboing; use the A forward only when you are certain it will connect.

Samus 3:30 ftw.

I have a question. How do u repeat ur jabs without finishing off the last jab of the 3 jabs ike has? I mean i try to do the first 2 jabs of Ikes consecutively like 1,2,1,2,etc in the vid, but i ended up doing 1st jab, 2nd jab, then 3rd jab. How do u stop quickly after ur 2nd jab then repeat again with the 1st jab????

A, A, L/R+A i think, or just time so you delay a little before pressing A a third time.

that is called a jab cancel, after the 1st two jabs, when ike pulls his foot back, hit dwn on the control stick, jus tap it, then u can follow up with any move u want

Blame Sakurai. Without Melee's bombs, general ground options, and closer-to-the-ground missile canceling, a lot of Samus' versatility is completely lost. Now we just grapple spam. Ha ha.

It wasn't a jab cancel, it was holding down A while samus was too high to activate Ike's final hit. And Sonic was obviously there to record the match.

when jabbing just hold down and back, kinda hold it diagnole while tapping "A" will create canceled jabs. samus does it real good too. thats who I figured it out with couple of weeks ago. thought i was the only one who knew. guess i was wrong, or maybe he did it by accident n after reading my comment, now he knows how.
