@losingsighthxc I just saw them in my home town along with , I think Emery and The Ember Days, I am not a church goer, although I believe in Jesus and God in the God forsaken planet, forgive me, but indeed, listening there and being there gave me a sense of uplifting feel. Really, as a metal head, being there to listen to the music was very ethereal feeling, I was almost in a trance. My daughters even liked it
@SniperSam I am glad you enjoyed it...They are part of come&live and their pretty legit about their message. If you like them, you should check out some of the other bands on that label as well, I think you will dig it!
@SEimagery I couldn't see it but it was either a synth generator of he was using a swell, or volume pedal with lots of delay....unless you're talking about just the over all pedal and amp setup. I saw Orange this one night.
they performed at my church today and they were absolutely amazing. They performed at the morning service and youth group tonite and everyone loved them all ages. wen they performed for us teenagers it was an amazing sight to see evryone praisng god
There are soooo many different bands that do a cover of this song, haha. Who was the original writer? Because I really like their version, I know David Crowder does a version, The Glorious Unseen does, Kim Walker (Jesus Culture) does as well... but who is the original writer?
@DS6FILMS A guy named John Mark McMillan. look him up and look up the original version. he cries in it because of why he wrote it. look it up and be blown away brother!
@justXjustin Yeah, I bought the CD the Medicine like two months ago. Its great. I know the story has to deal with his friend dying in a car accident, and this song was one of the things that helped him cope with it. But I am well aware that is John Mark McMillan, but thanks for the heads up! I found out on my own shortly after I looked at this.
Best version I've ever heard of this song! Thank you for your hearts!!
