Definitely one of the denser, more rewarding songs in the REM canon.
It still sounds fresh and edgy nowadays!

Stunning... it's great that these guys are playing their 'louder' material more often. Accelerate was something of a revival for them.

I think Accelerate was a change to new REM era. REM often change their sound. Accelerate is start of new era in REM music :)
