  • When all is said and done and our resources will all but run-out, what are we gonna do then?

IF animals had an ounce of intelligence and the perspective that we do then they'd do the right thing and kill us all and no-one could say we didn't deserve it.

  • ses tellement bon XD

  • Reminds of me At The Drive-In....just a little bit.

  • i love this song! it's about the environment and its rocks hard!

  • i think they got the lyrics a bit wrong in the video....

  • This song, the lyrics, the video. All so fucking true, these are the reasons I HATE humanity. We've fucking ruined this once beautiful home, fucking scum that we are.

  • I couldnt care less about the 22% of oil/5% of population stat. So much of the world doesnt even use automobiles, sure, USA uses too much, but I think 22 is actually rather low for us, haha.

  • @MattWestThePossum You realize that because of that, USA will have a terrible terrible time converting to non-oil alternatives when we run out of oil. That's why it matters.

  • Muy buen video, muy queridos aqui en ensenada mexico

  • pff talking about slay animals and dead fishes when they used a happy normal fish for they video and put him on the ground .... i mean hey guys instead of set your goals you guys should call your band set your thoughts !

  • America uses 1 million dollars of energy a minute? play an acoustic guitar than hypocrites

  • Preachy ass song, reminds me of anti flag

  • Set your Goals hella stole Mushroomhead's riff. look up Before I Die.

  • @DudeBrahMan i see why you would say that.. but no... just... no

  • @misterjingles666 all good.

  • OHHHH

  • they forgot one, "90% of our record sales are in the US" stop bitching about this country faggots

  • i saw them live a couple days ago they were awesome as usual...now im sad

  • It's too bad Set Your Goals doesn't make songs like this more often.

  • Hahaha, I love how this tree hugger-like song comes from the same guys who force preying mantises to eat eachother just because they find it funny. Gotta love SYG

  • most hypocritical video ever made acting as if they dont waste resources or contribute to the wastefulness of resources. arent there instruments made of wood, and the money they receive from people at their shows that buy their merch made of paper also made of wood, they drive across countries on cars that waste more gas then normal vehicles. they use energy to power amps and lights and mics at their shows.

  • @xstreaksinskyx Nearly any song you find contains some measure of hypocrisy.

  • @xstreaksinskyx they're not saying they haven't done anything to affect the planet. they have. they're just trying to open people's eyes so that people like you and i can change something about what we do so we're more aware of everything. i know this song has made me personally more aware of everything i do. look at it from every angle, and open your eyes.

  • @xstreaksinskyx and they're just trying to make the world a better place for everyone's benefit. you should be thankful someone notices these kinds of things.

  • @xstreaksinskyx YO DOG CHILL JUST LISTEN TO IT DOG COME ON.

  • I LOVE THE BEGINING SO SICK

  • The real issue is that the album is actually $9.99 not $7.99 like the annotation says. Still bought the album. First World Problems...

  • Nothing was harmed in the making of this video, except for my thoughts of the U.S. O_O

  • did they kill/torture a fish for the music video?

  • @newthrash1221 And?

  • Where have I heard this song before , I think it was on some game or something , anyone know ?

  • @Bkesal14 madden 10 i think

  • @abouttocrashx Thanks, you were right

  • @Bkesal14 Madden NFL 2010

  • Let's fucking throw a mutiny on the government.

  • i really like this band but not all their pussyness

  • Love this band this video everything about them!

Matt Wilson will you marry me? :)

  • @Kelsey12348 No, I will though.

  • you guys used alot of electricity to make this video. now everyone that watches it is using MORE electricity!

  • @goaliedp Electricity doesnt pollute the Earth buddy, big fat oil pumpin' cars do.

  • @benjaamin8 yea i agree, i just said that cause their video was complaining about too much electricity use. but oil keeps the economy going! it's part of america's history

  • This is my pump-up song.

  • they kinda remind me of Close Your Eyes ._.

  • I love this video 1. Because I am going to school for environmental engineering, and this is everything we learn about, and 2. Because I love Set Your Goals.

Talk about the best of both worlds in one video.

  • Jesus Christ shut the hell up. They didn't make this video so a bunch of people could argue cry about it in the comments. Why don't you guys go text each other or something if you want to fight like a bunch of idiots. Just shut up and listen to the music.

  • they are like a baby rise against :3

  • @miratengocuentamira Nope, SYG are pop punk/melodic hardcore, whereas Rise Against are modern punk rock

  • @wutconnur i wasnt talking about the genre, i was talking bout the message in their songs :/

  • @miratengocuentamira Oh, sorry. I feel harsh now. Agreed though :D

  • @miratengocuentamira They made a beautiful child :3

  • come on guys...its an amazing song and an amazing band...do we have to argue

  • one of their best songs :)

  • i thought the song was good then i saw the video -.-

  • this song made me want to disembowl myself with a corkscrew

  • i feel like alot of these statistics arent true. the football feild one. DEFINATELY NOT.

  • @DanceStevenDance1 That's what I was thinking... Wouldn't every rainforest in the world be gone within just a few years if that were the case? I heard that statistic in like 1st grade, and I'm 24 now.

    Fucking LOVE SYG though.

  • @chosentonessournotes AND THE GARBAGE PATCH one. we would notice it if that were the case hahaha it would be on world maps.

  • Comment removed

  • seeing them next week, cannot fucking wait

  • @TrSYeTi Recycle more, adapt, develop cleaner technology. After all we're a hell of a lot cleaner than the 19th century.

  • @cooly1uk Yeah we are, but there is ALOT more of us..so its almost counter productive :/

  • @TrSYeTi They were pretty wasteful in the 13th century as well. If living in a developed modern world means trashing our environment then we aren't that developed.

  • COVER YOUR EYES AND EARS AND NOSE

  • The lyrics made me think mow much we are all fucked right now.

  • @TrSYeTi Your apathy makes me sick. No one said we had to stop all pollution, but there's no reason for there to be so much garbage that can be recycled. And its just not the environment. There's a reason people hate the U.S, perhaps consuming 22% of oil while we only have 5% of the population. Over consumption and things we don't need is a big problem. Or is that just another issue us tree-hugging teenagers annoy you with?

  • @ClockworkMishap I'm assuming "We" = Americans. The same people who are providing the public with oil are the same people trying to adapt to the environments needs. Take Exxon for example, which is an American gas company. They have been trying to develop an alternative to gasoline for car fuel. Chevy too, also an American Company. They also developed the Volt which runs on electricity. I can go on. Energy companies have been trying to lean more towards sources like hydro turbines.

  • @AFilms01 Yes I'm aware. I'm not saying "we" (as Americans) do not try. It is more specifically the one's that are arrogant to the fact that people are destroying the environment and the very world we live in. I'm not saying give up your cars and walk that's simply ridiculous. I, or you, or many people may not have the ability to fix the problems, however I do what I can to be part of the solution. I actually try to spend my money on American-made goods only, despite my Mitsubishi lol.

  • @ClockworkMishap I totally agree with you, the issue isn't that 'pollution is inevitable' or that environmentalists are 'immature and need to deal with it' it's an issue of overconsumption, we could easily be using a small margin or resources and still be getting by just fine. It's a result of the stupid capitalist system. No wonder we go into financial crisis, too much shit is being produced and not enough consumers anyway.

  • @RajjGupandajionline Totally agree, When profit prioritises Health of both ours and the planets then you can start to see the root of the problem, money.

  • @benjaamin8 Exactly, profit drives our system and just leads to exploitation. I wonder is SYG has been down to the occupy movement at all.

  • @ClockworkMishap 10 points to Gryffendor!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NOW TURN TEH OTHER CHEEK & PRETEND!.

  • So, I watched this video for like, the billionth time, then when I pressed replay I saw the Sea Shepherd logo flash real quick and was like, Was I just imagining this or.... so i fast forwarded to the end and saw it and was like, YES! I love Set Your Goals EVEN more just for that. Sea Shepherds <3

  • I love this song, and this video makes it's point strongly. But they're missing one major statistic. 100% of people can make a difference.

  • I think i was 123,480 of the veiws =]

  • the intro is my ringtone :) and may i say what a tune ... !

  • this song's cool but the guitars sound too much like Before I Die, by Mushroomhead.

  • @dandyandy132 Morro Bay, CA

  • GO VEGETARIAN!

  • @mxrider139 no. whales yummy...

  • @mxrider139 GO VEGAN

  • @BassmanVegan vegans unite, {:

  • Global warming isn't real. Sorry, guys.

  • @NicPap12 I'm sure most of you on this feed wouldn't agree, but much of the date is manipulated. See climate-gate.

  • i live there at 1:34 lol

  • @cbcoolkid Where is that, Savannah?

  • poor fish...

  • Cihuy

  • Haha, when they played this live at Charlotte, NC right before the last breakdown he said "Let me see those monkey arms!" Shit went down haha!

  • badass. makes this gorilla wanna wreck something!

    -ManTis

  • Saw them yesterday at warped tour. Some security guards punched a member of The Wonder Years in the face and SYG stopped playing and were like "WTF you DO NOT hit a band member! Chill out, or this crowd will kick your asses!" And then they got off stage and started fighting with security, with everyone gathered around. SYG is so sweet.

  • @Cyan3205 yea i was there they were playing goonies never said die, it was getting good til that happened but at least SYG were looking out for the wonder years

  • @LoudnOut1 Yeah. They are such bros.

  • This song puts Captain Planet to shame.

  • Hmmn... I like them better when they are happy... like in Summer Jam.

  • lol i only kno this song from madden

  • Lol, I found this band through gnoosic.com :D ♥

  • mm talk to a scientist.. the earth goes through temperature shifts regularly over its lifespan.. were not the CAUSE of global warming.. its happening naturally.. were just speeding it up a bit

  • India causes more pollution.

  • @fordranger1345 also your mother

  • Im so happy SYG isn't mainstream. Makes them so much better.

  • @Speezy760 i hope you arent saying this to sound like a hipster...

  • OH!!!

  • Anniversary of this beautiful video is today. Yesssssss.

  • Americans use oil and coal because we're industrious and need it. Trash? We can build another landfill. Endangered species? Who cares? We 'slaughter' animals for food, and I'm thankful for it every time I enjoy a steak. Call me an inconsiderate conservative but I have no regrets about how I live my life and will continue to rock out to SYG, though I might not agree with them on all of today's issues.

  • The vocals on this song kind've make me think of Tom Araya's style of vocals on slayer's newer stuff.

  • I LOVE THIS BAND!!

  • Comment removed

  • @DanB4004 "Wrong" views and opinions? Because they're liberal? Get off your high horse man.

  • @DanB4004 everyone knows we're going down

  • @DanB4004 haha dude "wrong" is a human concept... your view of wrong may be completely different to anothers.. just like views and opinions.. everyone has their own.. there is no such thing as being wrong..

  • @metalrayps go smoke some weed. of course theres such thing as wrong. Some things are relative, some things arent.

  • @MattWestThePossum id love to smoke some weed. is that wrong? according to the law it is, according to a lot of people it isnt.. there is no definition of wrong that applies to everything.. is killing wrong? i bet you think it is.. but would you kill someone to protect your family or your wife? would that be wrong? or would it be right because it was justified? think about it.. there is no right or wrong.. just generic principles that people choose to follow for convenience.

  • @DanB4004 Shut up, they aren't trying to persuade their fans into any specific viewpoint, all they did was present information and facts, it's the individual watching that makes the decision on how they are going to react, SYG isn't persuading or forcing them to do anything, they are just raising awareness. Liberal views are wrong? LOL. Good job, I'm sure you make a fantastic corporate slave :)

  • Video totally changed this song.

  • When did Rage Against the Machine start playing pop punk? This is awesome!

  • @lobster272 But where RATM failed in their own hypocrisy, SYG is actually on an indie label and as far as I know, their guitarist wasn't featured in a multi-million dollar movie.

  • is this their heaviest song?

  • @avatarleeroy Yeah this is the only song that's heavy at all actually. You might like the song "Start the Reactor"

  • DOOUBBLLLEE BAAAAAAAAAASSSSSS. <3

  • finally the made this :D

  • 1:42 i dont have a much of a beef with that statistic

  • I don't care what the songs about this shit is awesome!

  • This is a badass song, just that, stop finding genres and this stupid things. Is MUSIC, you like it or not.

  • Think about it this way. Everything uses energy, you're saying they're using energy making this video and touring? So by your logic everyone should just sit at home with solar panels on their roof just rotting. No, they're spreading their own message and if this song spreads that to a point in which it helps more than doesn't, they've succeeded.

  • i wonder how much energy they used making this video. and how much gas they use touring. hmm

  • @hxcswagg I wonder how much gas you use driving to your job everyday? Assuming you even have a job. I wonder how much energy you use doing everything that you do? like @towhomthismayconcern says, do you expect them to just quit their jobs and throw out all of their guitars and amps to save a little bit of energy?

  • @youronlysolution Thats my point. I love set your goals and i'm not hating. I just see the irony. make way for man.

  • i rememeber when people used to enjoy good music, not act like smart arse pricks.......

  • Screamo FTW

  • Not only are they touring all over the place, but literally, their tour bus is zig zagging all over the country probably wasting a lot of resources they are so angry about in the process. lol.

  • Hey lookie there- SYG is touring all over the country. I am guessing they are going to fly on sound waves because big tour buses are so 1975.

  • reminds me of sum41.

  • NOW TURN THE OTHER CHEEK AND PRETEND!

  • SYG must of got their info from fucking Wikipedia and all you scrubs will eat it up. It helps to know what you're talking about and these guys are not meteorologists.

  • hey who is doing the screaming? sounds somthing from either AAS or attack attack

  • @tech9boarder it's Jon Gula, he used to be the singer for Turmoil

  • SYG is easily one of the most underrated bands out there.

  • @RajjGupandajionline

SYG is easily one of the most sold out bands out there.

  • @minusjosh Not really dude, it's not like they did what fall out boy did completely changing as a band. Their lyric content has consistently been good, and their music style has been the same (although some could argue against that with the new album)

  • @RajjGupandajionline witch is kinda good things

  • Its so weird to hear them now, and then go back and listen to reset. I've been listening to them for years, and they've come so far as a band.

  • there's 9 billion animals being slaughtered in the US every year because they are a load fat wankers

  • @WELSHYM249 While I agree that American meat consumption and quality is horrid- you have yet to prove that this band has made any kind of difference. Further- loads more animals are slaughtered by vegetarians in the form of insecticides, other chemicals and unforgiving heavy machinery. So... touche?

  • wtf people why don't you just listen to the song and stop arguing, all these guys are trying to do is to contribute a little in the way we see things everyday, the change in our conciense about the consumption everybody has right now is one of the solutions to several problems we as human beings have.

  • hmm...i believe rise against did this already 5 years ago.

  • @TheVeggieMonstah Hmm. I believe Rise Against are very, very freaking awesome.[: That was the first band I ever listened to.

  • @TheVeggieMonstah And black flag or the dead kennedys did it before them

Punk rock snobery is old news

  • @TheBopRock nah you misunderstood me...i was just saying the concept of a video with footage of so-called wrongdoings and having different blurbs of information shown. nothing against syg. i think theyre awesome.

  • There are about 27 corporate leaders of the oil industry who have watched this so far.

  • Sweet a SYG song with a different drumline.

  • 0:17 OH!!!!!

  • This song isn't bad at all

  • I love that he's wearing an integrity shirt.

  • global warming doesn't exist.

  • I think the point of this song is to inform. No, they don't propose solutions, at least they're paying attention. There are plenty of people, especially the kids who listen, who aren't aware of the problems we face as a nation and as a species and wouldn't be exposed to them otherwise. I don't think these guys are the cream of the crop when it comes to sociopolitical observation, but this song is notch above the countless out that are completely empty of any meaning whatsoever.

  • the power plants they are bitching about provided the electricity thats powering their amps and PA (that they don't seem to be using in this video), and the pressing plants that print their albums. how much pollution is your van emitting every time you tour, guys?

i'm not even going to mention all the bullshit you did to our planet just by making this music video.

fucking hippies, this wasn't even a good song.

  • @almightyseancore you're a faggot

  • @almightyseancore your right but this is still a good tune

  • @almightyseancore You sir, are an idiot. And oh HEY, these guys are making more of a DIFFERENCE than you are.

  • Bad ass.

  • um on a side note i like this song......

  • And also, the fact that americans account for 45% of global warming is extremely skewed. Mars is warming at the same rate as earth...don't believe me? Look it up for yourself. But I suppose it is americans fault that mars is warming up also...
